All of these writers are hugely underrated! Grateful to have met a few of them this past month in St Croix:
@edwidgedanticat - Brother, I'm Dying, lyrical emotional memoir;
@etafrum - Evil Eye, honest novel of non belonging;
@desmondhallauthor - Your Corner Dark, powerful Jamaican story.
@khayafraites the talented voice actress behind my audiobook, is also a writer and movie maker, loved meeting her in person and reading her witty debut novella on grief, RIP, LOL! I only know
@laurenfsharma (Casualties of Truth, powerful novel centering apartheid) and
@jackiefriedland (Counting Backwards, eye opening novel exploring modern day eugenics) through social, but was glad to finally read their wonderful novels, which came out last year with mine. Please check them out!
