*stay till the end*
i didn’t foresee myself posting anytime soon in light of what’s happened to my hometown. The wildfires have devastated many LA neighborhoods—impacting lives, businesses, and our collective spirit. but this project, one I’m proud deeply proud of, feels more relevant now than ever, as it highlights the ongoing impact this experience has on us all.
when I initially filmed this with
@resy , I thought of it as a small act of service—a way to connect people to the places and experiences that bring us together. service has always been at the core of who I am, whether it’s serving the moment in front of me, advocating for others, or pouring into future generations. service takes many forms, and in recent weeks, it’s looked like coming together in community to support those affected by unimaginable loss.
to my city: I love you, every piece of you. from the westside to the valley, from Pali to The Denas, every corner holds memories of joy, growth, and love- the cornerstones of who i am. no wildfire can destroy memories etched into this place we call home. us Angelenos just different ✨
LA is no stranger to challenges and tragedy. but through it all, one truth remains: the Phoenix always rises.
If you’re able, consider supporting the businesses and people who make our city what it is. And thank you to Resy x Amex for highlighting the importance of service and community in times like these.
