Hi, I’m Yinka Ogun. Writer. Mentor. Master of Story. Over the years, I’ve worked behind some of your favorite Nigerian films and series; developing stories, leading and mentoring writers’ rooms, and guiding scripts from idea to screen. 🎬 I’ve been fortunate to win awards, lead creative departments (EbonyLife Creative Academy), and serve as the President of the Screenwriters Guild of Nigeria. But my real joy? It’s teaching, mentoring, and helping other writers grow. I work with passionate, serious creatives; writers who want to move people, build a body of work they’re proud of, and write stories that will be remembered for a long time. If that’s you, you’re in the right place. Here’s how I can help: • Script consulting • Story development • Mentorship for screenwriters • Writers’ room collaborations • Trainings & workshops And through @naijawriterscommunity , we’re building something even bigger: A digital home for Nigerian writers across genres and industries, who are ready to go further. Thanks for stopping by. Stick around. You just might grow into the writer you were always meant to be. ~YO * * * * * * * * #YinkaOgun #NaijaWritersCommunity #ScreenwriterMentor #ScriptConsultant #StoryDevelopment #WriteYourStory #AfricanStorytelling #TVWritingAfrica #NaijaWriters #WritersOfAfrica #MasterOfStory

HUMILITY OR INTELLIGENCE? Many times, I have read about the perceived humility of billionaires like Otedola and Dangote, as displayed by their continued usage of simple phones like the Nokia 3310 and im constantly wondering if these choices are not more driven by the fact that, in these modern times, phones like the 3310 offer value added protection, as they are less connected, less trackable, and harder to remotely compromise ... just a thought 🤷🏽‍♂️

It's the 11th Week at The Writers' Forge (a subsidiary of ScriptAura Studios). We've had the fantastically amazing @ayocinemanolaleye , it was so highly awesome with @lucilleebisayorinde , and greatly impactful with @anthony.k.joseph . This weekend, Saturday April 25, we have the great privilege of hosting Mr Yinka Ogun @naijawriter , the President of the Screenwriters Guild of Nigeria (SWGN), because here at The Writers' Forge, our Writers are trained by the best to be the best. 😉 This is more than a class. It's a launch pad!!!🚀🚀
