It's been a hot minute since our last Mesmerizer post! To be honest, we have a bit of a love hate relationship with these costumes. They've gone through multiple versions (Birdie has made Teto's pants 3 times and Nat has made Miku's dress 2 times...and there may even be a 3rd time in the future). Turns out making an entire outside of sequins looks awesome but the fabric just LOVES to get caught on itself, on wigs, and literally everyone else that can possibly stick to it! We seemed to have potentially cracked the code by adding stretch tulle over the sequins...but sewing entirely with sequins is always a test of sanity 🫪 Fear not, we're sure Mesmerizer will return one day! 【ＨＡＰＰＹ ＢＩＲＴＨＤＡＹ ＭＥＴＡＭ０ＲＥ】 Not only is it Miku Day, but it's also the 3 year birthday/anniversary/founding of a little idol duo you may know, called Metam0re 🫰 Metam0re was officially brought to life on March 9, 2023, and what started as a side project for us to focus on vocaloid stuff turned into the biggest passion project either of us has known so far. Since our debut performance of Roki at Anime Boston 2023, together as Metam0re we have gone on to perform 29 times, founded 2 events to bring the idol and cosplay community in New England together (with more to come? Idk teehee), been guests and judges at several conventions, won performance awards, gotten 2 vocaloid tattoos each, and continue on our quest to fill our cosplay closets with as much Rin and Len as possible.
