"I'm all about sustainability, so when I found out about reusable cups by @muuse.ca , I was all in! It's so easy to borrow a reusable cup from a local business. Reusable cups help reduce waste and help contribute to a sustainable world. Plus, they're great for on-the-go coffee or tea!"

This weekend at @evergreen_brick_works we visited @goodleaffarms@sobeys The Future of Farming 🌱 exhibit, be sure to check it out!
... And isn't it cool that the future of farming is showcased with no garbage!
Did you know that the Banff Borrows program has diverted over 12,000 disposable, single-use cups over the past year?! 😮
This work is able to happen due to visitors and residents like you participating in the program at local cafes and events! Here’s a video from just over a year ago where we explored the streets of Banff and asked residents why they #choosetoreuse!
Thank you to Environment and Climate Change Canada for supporting this work! @canenvironment

Congrats to Tribute Banff for an amazing event!
We helped their team significantly reduce waste by providing vendors with reusables dishware. This dramatically diverted 3318 single use units from reaching a landfill!
What an incredible tribute to all the local crafters.
We cannot recommend this event enough!
A special thanks to @sustaindriven for supporting us with sorting the waste and to @tributebanff for our first year of collaboration.

One year in, “Banff Borrows”, a local reusable cup program is demonstrating how small, collective actions by visitors and residents can support the destination’s vision to #LeadTourismForGood.
☕ From cafés to events like @melissasroadrace and @banffchristmasmarket , visitors and locals are choosing reuse and making a real difference.
🤝 Banff Borrows is a partnership of organizations in Banff National Park that are working together to reduce unnecessary single-use waste by providing reuse solutions for local businesses and events.
The program is powered by @muuse.ca and supported by @banfftown , @banff_lakelouise , @workinbanff , and @biosphere.institute .

Love, Actually….Reuse!
#BanffBorrows powered by @muuse.ca diverted over 37,000 single use items from a landfill at the @banffchristmasmarket .
That is our western Canadian record and we’re still counting from the event! We expect to hit over 40,000 units for this event and will let you know the numbers in a few days!
