The staff, space, sound and vibes all top tier. VENUE CHANGE 27/03 IMPORTANT INFO FOR MUTATIONS PRESENT ANCIENT METHODS ON FRIDAY 27 MARCH Due to circumstances beyond our control - Mutations Present Ancient Methods will now take place at TOPP (The Other People Place), Manchester on the same date Friday 27 March. This new exciting space is located literally 2 doors down from Unit3 - TOPP, located upstairs in @renae.mcr , Thomas Street, Manchester, M4 1NA. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect spot to move our party and are hugely grateful to the Renae team for accommodating us for one of their first parties. You will still hear the same amount of music with a 7 hour show but our start/end times will now be 8pm-3am. All existing tickets are honoured however capacity is very limited and if you intend to join us for an even more intimate experience we advise you to secure your ticket now, there are only a dozen or so left before we sell out. We’re sending her all of our love and wishing her a speedy recovery 🖤 Stepping in as a very special replacement, we’re buzzing to welcome local chug pioneer @cosmikuro_ . Expect a deep, driving trip through sounds spanning New Beat, Goa, beyond 🌌 Cosmikuro has been steadily carving out a name with hypnotic sets across the underground circuit, with appearances at clubs and parties including, Leeds’ finest @clubcosmosuk and levitation, supporting slots for artists like Mutations past guest Curses and productions on labels like @paisleydark . Blending psychedelic textures with chugging rhythms; If you don’t know, now’s the time to lock in. We’ll also now be running from 8PM till 4AM, so ensure you’re fully charged up to sustain an extended runtime 🔌 set times revealed tomorrow.

This Wednesday we welcome Lebanon Hanover to Academy 2 with support from Marina Zispin - final tickets available via DICE. Lebanon Hanover are an ice cold reply to the alienated world coming from two warm beating hearts. Larissa Iceglass and William Maybelline appear as true romantics of the modern age, admiring William Wordsworth, fascinated by the beauty of art nouveau aesthetics, exploring British seashores and forests at night, whilst being inspired by the urbanism of Berlin. MARINA ZISPIN, aka Glasgow/Newcastle-based synth pop apparitions Bianca Scout and Martyn Reid, have been haunting the shores of the UK since forming Marina Zispin in the summer of 2018. Together, they occupy the infinite twilight space that exists between fantasy and reality. Juxtaposing the sacred and mundane; they transform the selected minutia of their everyday existence into the totems and litanies that comprise their stream of conscious anthems of interdimensional melancholia. Now our CPU has cooled to functioning temp 🥵 a big THANK YOU to everyone who made Friday what it was🙏 @andi80s — We honestly haven’t seen someone have the crowd in the palm of their hand like that. The sheer number of “WTF is THIS?!” moments flying around. Total command 💅 We couldn’t go without mentioning @letssubmerge.shonab for the most expertly dialled-in warm-up — the perfect ignition for the night ⚡️ Special shout to the @eagleinn — sound, staff, vibe… 🦾 And to our residents and everyone who stayed from the very first bassline to the final beat.
