Happiness in liquid form
Having spent the past 3 weeks travelling in Mexico, getting paid to do the thing I love and working alongside some top level athletes, I can truly say I have completed some goals that I genuinely did not believe was possible a year ago and the exciting thing is that I’m only just getting started!
A big thank you again to everyone who made it possible. I can’t wait to start releasing the content from this trip.

FJALLRAVEN POLAR -
Part of the prize for winning Outdoor Photographer of the Year in 2014 was a place on the annual Fjallraven Polar evebt in Norway and Sweden in 2015. I joined over 20 other participants from the US, Europe, and the Far East in a 4 day dog-sled ‘expedition’ north of the Arctic Circle, camping, sledding and learning survival skills, all in sub-zero temps. This was a one-handed shot as we charged across a frozen lake in our small team of 4 (plus a guide), whilst trying to not fall off!

I’ve gained new followers recently so thought I’d introduce myself properly so you can learn a little bit more about the face behind the camera.
* My love of photography was born when my dad allowed me to pick up his camera and shoot when I was about 6. Most of those early images were crooked! Lightroom helps straighten them now.
* I’ve been dancing since I was little and am a qualified salsa teacher. I danced everything from ballet, tap and modern to Latin American, disco and Irish, with a whole host of hilarious outfits from the disco days which I put on every now and then for shits and giggles. Much to the amusement and tear rolling laughter from friends.
* I’m a wife, a mother to 3 beautiful children (22,19 and 12) and have an amazing close knit and somewhat large family.
* I was a tree climbing tomboy growing up and had the nickname Red from Fraggle Rock.
* I love animals, nature, music and the arts in equal amounts. They all ground me.
* Yoga and a cold shower are part of my daily rituals.
* I love riding, skiing, surfing and climbing and have @mrtomreader to thank for that...not that I’ve done any in 2020!!
* I did the Mud Monster run a couple of years ago with friends and family to raise money for charity. It was a hideous 10k obstacle run through mud, swamps and rivers finished off with torrential rain for the last 3k. I wouldn’t do it in October again! (Pics above)
* I’m shit at doing vlogs. I end up stuttering and swearing (a couple are in highlights) but will keep trying as people keep suggesting I do more. Any tips welcome.
