I can’t explain why but the beginning of the sound is the caption for us this new year. This is the year for the Sarah Boadu brand. We’re shining God colours this year. To all my clients for 2025, whether it’s your wedding dress, reception dress, birthday dress or all the above 🥰; you’ve actually chosen the best year to have me as your designer! See how you have people hyping you like my sister and co were hyping me in this video 😉 This year marks 20 years in the craft and there will be numerous celebrations but most of all it will show through our work!♥️ Happy new year beautiful people we are about to have the best year of our lives. Lots of Love, Sarah Boadu ♥️

This past weekend we celebrated Mother’s Day in Ghana and the US (and possibly other locations around the world too) I couldn’t find these pictures but really wanted to use them on Sunday to speak to mums that are doing toooooo much. Not giving themselves enough grace in their season of motherhood and forcing themselves out of seasons they need to be fully committed too. I have four kids and the above video was of me breastfeeding my fourth while I was having my makeup done for a photoshoot for my birthday. He had barely turned a month old. I look back on this video and I cringe. I was so tired, no one forced me to do the shoot but because I do a shoot for every birthday I was determined to show up for that year too. I should have spent the day asleep instead I forced my self up and showed up for internal fear of falling behind. No one placed that fear in me, I put that pressure on myself. As mothers I think we need to understand more that raising a human being is a BIG deal! That newborn phase especially can be wild the sleepless nights can feel taxing and we need to prioritize rest whenever we can. Taking time out of your business to focus on your child isn’t falling behind. Choosing sleep over an outing isn’t missing out. At one point during the shoot I could hear my son crying and internally asked myself what I was doing? In hindsight I should have posted a picture of me raw and honest and told the world that that years birthday shoot wasn’t business as usual because I was in a new season, not force myself to show up. Or further more I didn’t have to post anything at all it really isn’t by force. There are actually no rules on this app, we are in charge of our own pages and we can make our own rules. Now there will be times we can do both showing up and being a mother and there are times we do have to make sacrifices but I’m talking about the moments when we know that rest should be the priority. Being a mum is a full time job (maybe 5 full time jobs!!). Let’s continue to show up where we need to but let’s also prioritize rest whenever we need to, especially my mums in the newborn phase. Don’t be like me, relaxxxxx! (Continued in comments)

Millions 2026 🔥🔥🔥😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨 My third @millionsconference and definitely THE BEST so far!!! All the speakers and every session was 🔥 (I also shook hands with @myrongolden , if I ever update my CV believe I’m adding that to it😂😮‍💨) The @sbbysarahboadu table was litttt (are we still using that word 👀😂) everyone that made a purchase or just came to show love thank youuuuu! @vanilla.vee.x and @mybreakingviews I love youuuuuu!! We had the best time in Miami!! Thank you for being the bestestestest 😂, for helping with the table and everything else in between. There’s no one else I would have wanted to be getting lost in the streets of Miami with (but next time can we not be hungry while we’re lost 👀🫠🤭🤣) @tiphanimontgomery I love youuuu! This Millions was definitely the BEST yet! Everything was on another level, from the decor (fresh flowerssssss!) to the speakers, the teachings, the vendorsss and everything in between I was so stirrredddd to do so much more for Christ! I left stirred not just to be a better Kingdom entrepreneur but also a better Christian, a better wife, a better mother, a better friend just an all round better person because taking territory starts from within! I refuse to hear what I heard last week and remain the same! Here’s to TAKING TERRITORY and taking every head of every single Goliathhhhh!!! God will be glorified through my life!

First Sunday of May at church in my current favorite @sbbysarahboadu dress 🥰 Todays sermon by @pastorjosephstein was 🔥 5 of my favourite points from the sermon: 1. Operate by revelation not rumors. 2. Don’t let anything remove you from your place of excellence. 3. If you don’t allow the opinions of others to change you, you will then change their opinions of you. 4. Whatever you do make sure that you glorify God. 5. Don’t do what is popular do what is purpose. 🙏🏾♥️

Not every testimony is actually a Godly one. Our words have power so when we say “we’re tapping in” whether it’s good or bad we will see the fruit of it. Don’t miss what I’m saying here. We can be encouraged by others testimonies, our faith can be stirred by other testimonies but we are doing toooooo much when we start “tapping in”. I’m sure we all have examples of things that were initially displayed as great “God-ordained” testimonies that ended up being terrifying stories. I have personal examples myself where I thought something’s in my life were God and it was the devil Himself masquerading as light 😩. Let’s be guided and God-led, not everything good is God. 🙏🏾♥️

Thank you @aaliyahtamara for inviting me to speak on the @ghanagirlslinkup “Building in Ghana” panel on Tuesday. It was such a pleasure to speak about the highs and lows of the move from London to Accra. I’m always honest about the transition to Ghana it definitely hasn’t been easy but it has a million per cent been worth it! I will never forget or dismiss that first month of the move, tears back to back because I was like what have we done😩😩. That first month was tough! Now it’s nearly 5 years, and despite the challenges by Gods grace and a sprinkle of endurance and tenacity, I have zero regrets!!! Slides 2 and 3 were my last words for anyone considering the move. 🙏🏾♥️ Also my gorgeous kimono is @sbbysarahboadu , and that is an incredibly shameless plug because the kimono is gorgeous!!!
