From “Mr MoneyJar” to published author, Rotimi Merriman-Johnson is reshaping financial education 📚✨
Rotimi Merriman-Johnson, a leading financial educator and founder of the Mr MoneyJar platform, has reached a significant career milestone, becoming a published author after six years of championing financial literacy.
He has authored three financial literacy workbooks published by Oxford University Press as part of its Financial Literacy Skills series for primary and secondary schools worldwide. His books focus on equipping young people with essential money skills, covering topics such as budgeting, saving, investing, and entrepreneurship.
Through this work, Merriman-Johnson aims to empower children globally with the knowledge and confidence to make informed financial decisions throughout their lives.
He expressed his gratitude to the Oxford University Press team for the opportunity and described it as a privilege to collaborate with fellow authors Susan Okereke and Sue Cowley.
The nine-book series, including his contributions to books seven to nine, is available on the Oxford University Press website.

Last week I visited the @bankofengland for the launch of 'Mind Your Money', their new financial education platform, which features a series of games and quizzes to help young people learn about money.
In a conversation with Sarah Breeden, the Deputy Governor of the Bank of England, she shared that games are a great way to learn about the real world effects of financial decisions and policy making - but in a safe space.
