Do you know how Big Issue really works?
Vendors buy the magazine from Big Issue for £2.50, sell it for £5, and keep the profit.
We use our share (£2.50 per copy) to fund the creation and distribution of the magazine, and to support vendors with things like financial advice, housing support and sales training.
🔄 Please take the magazine you buy, it's a sign of respect for vendors working (not begging) to rebuild their life, and supports our work to end poverty in the UK.
