PEOPLE! THIS IS NOT A DRILL!
The Nubile Thangs! are BACK two weeks from tonight (May 22) at Subterranean in Chicago! The amazing Terrible Spaceship starts the show at 7pm and we are on at 8pm!
Ages 17 and older are allowed in on this show, so bring that surly college student and we will whoop them into shape for the summer.
AND! It's the first new songs we've played in about 25 years (if I can get my shit together)!
DO NOT MISS OUT!

All right, it's not often that I get to brag about my technical expertise (AHEM), but see if you can guess which one of the new features of panLab was suggested by me. Thank you to @danielhiggott and the crack team at @timaxspatial !
And before another week or two gets away from me…
Last week, I got to catch up with two friends who happened to be in town. Lindsay was in town to catch The Meters at The Fillmore, and Tracey was directing the new musical, “Down at the Rue Bayou”. While we wished we could have spent more time together, both visits were short but sweet. -Which I believe our smiles prove. -And it had been 25+ years since Tracey and I had worked together at the new defunct New Harmony Theatre in New Harmony, IN. There really are no people like show people.

I am super excited to announce that David R Molina and I have been nominated for The Webby Awards for Best Original Music Score/Sound Design for RICHARD III, produced by Next Chapter Podcasts and Play On Shakespeare! It was such an honor to help create this authentic punk rock score for Migdalia Cruz's adaptation, directed by Lisa Rothe.

It's a big day! I'm in the first day of tech for The Merry Wives Of Windsor at Chicago Shakespeare Theater, featuring the amazing musical talents of Jason Singer, Ashley Jarmack, Young Naperville Singers (conducted by Angie Radtke Johnson) and The Sing for Hope HandaHarmony Youth Chorus (conducted by Emily Preston).
Meanwhile, the amazing team of Natalie Margaret Houle, Anthony Narciso and Dennis Dowding are hard at work calibrating the TiMax Spatial sensors for the next show Circus Fire at TheaterWorks Hartford! These geniuses are building an immersive sound system based on my fever dream of an idea and I am so grateful to them (and all of these people above!) for their incredible talent and expertise.
Thanks so much to everyone who came out last night! Also, huge thanks to everyone at @bookclubchi as well as our friends @bumpusmusic and @terriblespaceship . We’ll see you again soon!
