1,000 days in a row of running. This wasn’t planned, nor was it a goal but we got here by making a lifestyle change. It has brought insane mental, physical, and spiritual growth so I’ve kept doing it. Every. Day.
I’m beyond grateful to share this milestone with an amazing group of people, many who I consider fam.
The best part? We’re only getting started and there’s still so much room for growth. I know I’m on the right path.
New home for everything running and moving! @flightmovesdaily
Thank you for the fire edit @raygenio
Thank you for hosting @heartbreak_la
Thank you for the amazing vibes @sterlingvictorian
On to the next day! 🏃 💨
So I told myself I’d run a half or full marathon every month this year. I’ve built such a strong base that a marathon a month is easy (depending on my effort/pacing). Now I’m bitter I didn’t find a full in January.
Anywho, to answer everyone’s question of what’s next. San Diego full marathon @runrocknroll at the end of the month!
See ya there! ✌️
Sooo what does my typical 60 mile a week look like? Here was last week:
Monday (flex) - 4 miles in Oklahoma City (recovery from the marathon)
Tuesday - 8 miles with @keepitrunhundred
Wednesday - 8 miles with @walkgoodla
Thursday - 8 miles with @keepitrunhundred
Friday - 6 miles with @runtechclub
Saturday - 10 miles broken out, 4 on treadmill, 6 outside evening (typically a long run with a club in the morning)
Sunday - 15+ miles with @keepitrunhundred
I always round down and strava been acting up, cheated me a mile but I def got 60 in 😊
6/7 days typically running in community and then some.
See y’all outside!
Shake off the week and get outside this Wednesday—it’s all about movement, fresh air, and being around good folks.
RunGood is linking the community again, and everybody’s welcome. Pace doesn’t matter. Experience doesn’t matter. Whether you’re going for distance, keeping it light, or just walking and vibing, come through and be part of it.

Still buzzing from this past Sunday. Thank you Oklahoma City Marathon - @okcmarathon
#runtoremember and a great overall experience.
An impactful marathon to remember all the lives lost of the tragic bombing in ‘95 and to honor all of the heroes that day on April 19th.
The run itself was electric with supporters from all over. When I hear about the OKC Thunder fan base and the energy, now I get it. It definitely helped with my hair color but this marathon by far had supporters shouting the most direct compliments, even more than NYC.
Personally, it was a nice accomplishment as I had a decent finishing time for the full even though I was mentally prepared to run just the half marathon. The full had sold out but a spot opened for me at the expo about 14 hours before the race.
I was also able to experience the Memorial museum @okcnm where the ticket came with the bib purchase.
Great course, great community, great energy. Would definitely do again!
Midweek energy, fresh air, and good people—that’s the move this Wednesday.
RunGood is back bringing the community together. No matter your pace or experience, everyone’s invited. Whether you’re running, jogging, or just taking a chill walk, come be outside with us and connect.

Daily Run 1,223 in a row. Running the @okcmarathon
No marathon training (actual training block). No tapering. No carb loading. No massage gun. No music.
Just going out there and running with the strong base I’ve built the past month and a half and heart.
I was mentally prepared to run the half with a modest goal of under 1:30 but when that full marathon spot opened, I had less than 12 hours to mentally prepare for the change.
Knowing I was going to hit over 75 miles for the week and the lack of real training, I just wanted to soak it in.
The crowd was electric and I kid you not, maybe 60 comments about my hair in which I thanked them all (that I heard). #lovethehair #purplehairguy
Now I know why the Thunder and their home crowd is off the charts.
This was a great experience and if you’ve made it this far in my post, here’s a nugget. I’m building something special in Oklahoma and hope to share it with the world very soon.
Thanks for everyone’s support!
