#Be_Kind In a world optimized for speed, outrage, and performance, kindness is often dismissed as soft. It isn’t. It’s infrastructure. It shapes how we lead, how we listen, and how we build systems that actually work for people. Kindness doesn’t mean avoiding hard truths. It means delivering them with care. It doesn’t lower standards; it elevates trust. Be kind. Because in the long run, the strongest and most durable systems in the Digital Age must find a way to combine excellence and humanity.

Leadership isn’t defined by titles—it’s shaped by alignment, empathy, and a commitment to service. In my latest Forbes article, Four Career-Changing Lessons From Psychiatry’s National Leaders at APA, I spoke with Theresa M. Miskimen Rivera, MD (President, American Psychiatric Association), Marketa M. Wills, MD, MBA, FAPA (CEO, American Psychiatric Association), and Rawle Andrews, Esq. (Executive Director, APA Foundation) about what truly sustains meaningful careers in psychiatry—self-awareness, effective communication, and grounding our work in compassion and purpose. Grateful for their leadership and willingness to share their insights. Many athletes across all levels of sport struggle with mental health – including bouts of anxiety and depression. 🎧 Listen to Rawle Andrews Jr. (@mr_rawle ) of the @apa_foundation break down how these common conditions manifest – and how they differ from each other. Because not all struggles look the same… and they shouldn’t be treated the same either. Awareness is the first step toward real support. 🎥 Watch the full panel on our YouTube channel, and find more resources for #AthleteWellbeing at athletewellbeing.org #MentalHealthMatters #AthletesForHope #EndTheStigma

“Where We #Live & #Learn: Late March - The Work Between Seasons” There’s something honest about late March. It’s not quite winter, not fully spring. It’s the in-between time when “The Why” of our New Year’s Resolutions” often needs some help finding a “Why Now”. This also is where our operational plans are tested. Where purpose is refined. Where alignment either tightens or fractures. Growth doesn’t always announce itself in March. But it’s happening. Let’s stay with the work, and make it matter. #Grit #Grind #Resilience
