Did anyone else just grow up wanting to the Mary Robinson! (side note how lucky were we to grow up seeing this). She has been such a ray of hope during all of this. And quick to call out failures. If she is happy with today’s outcome then it is good news for us all ❤️🇵🇸 If abided to we should see an end to Genocide activities. I know we cannot trust the monsters carrying out these atrocities but I hope they are smart enough to listen. #andtheworldwaits #freepalestine

Amazing to see the crowds out protesting worldwide today. So much of what we see on social media these days is upsetting but the videos, the pictures, the words from the marches should give us hope. Humanity is not lost. The system is just broken. But good people can fix broken things 🇵🇸 Well done to all who march, post, talk, pray, and just acknowledge. #ceasefirenow🇵🇸 #freepalestine #inourthousandsinourmillionsweareallpalestinians

Great initiative from @gillybeangirl . If you cannot make the march today share this image to your page and tag your local supporter groups. If you can’t make it to a March for Palestine today, you can show your support on line and tag your local Palestine solidarity group. #thereinspirit @corkpalestinesolidarity @cobh_palestine @mayo_ipse @galway_ipsc @teachers_for_palestine @irishpsychologistsforpalestine @corkrebelsforpeace @irish.artists.for.palestine @actionforpalireland @irelandpalestineaction @irelandpsc

Image @gillybeangirl 💕 Thank you for creating such great pieces to share and raise awareness. Taking guide from @easkeysurf and will share the beautiful words of Palestinian poet Dr. Refaat Alareer (1979-2023).. I followed both these ladies before all of this and it is amazing to see their empathy and energy. Like so many other lovely souls sharing and talking. If I must die you must live to tell my story (...) If I must die let it bring hope let it be a tale - Refaat Alareer (Rest in Peace) From his final poem, ‘If I must die’ written 5 weeks before he and 6 members of his family were killed in an Israeli airstrike in G@za , still buried under the rubble. #ceasefirenow

It’s so hard to know what to do when this genocide seems so out of our control. Like we have no power to stop it and it’s Christmas so let’s pick back up in the new year. Sadly that will just mean thousands of more deaths! I first posted to my grid on Nov 15th and since then the number of dead children has risen by almost 5,000! 5K! That’s just children. Civilian deaths is now over 20,000. I post every day because I can’t stand what I am seeing and I want it to stop. So I ask for it to stop. We all manifest right! Let’s manifest a New Year’s Ceasefire.

You might be thinking “what can I do I am only one voice and a small following” But that’s your power at the moment. Meta is shadowbanning lager accounts. Trying to silence them. You can help raise awareness! You can use your “small account” to show the world what is happening. Share with family and friends, ask them to share, etc. We are more powerful than we think! Don’t feel overwhelmed. Just get involved. If you don’t like what you see- say something about it! Shout it to the hills! None of us should have to watch the slaughter of innocent civilians on our phones. But we are. We can’t look away and ignore it. Share it, like it- even though you hate it. Call for a Ceasefire 🇵🇸

REPOST TO YOUR GRID. You can screenshot or I can send to you via DM. Let’s try and create awareness across all platforms. Amazing people like @gillybeangirl taking part, creating as much awareness and focus as possible is so important. Here are 3 things she asks us to include in our caption: First awareness (the graphic of the post) education- send people to Palestinian voices @motaz_azaiza @wizard_bisan1 @noor @rupikaur_ 3. then ACTION This post is highlighting the urgent ceasefire needed in Gaza right now as there is an ongoing humanitarian crisis.

As a Marketer I work with clients to help them find the words when they cannot. To help them connect with their community, raise awareness for their brand and in essence ask for a response- a sale, a like, a comment or a share. I have teamed up with the very talented Liz from @hues.creative to help our clients find the words they may be unable to right now. To add some colour and creative to a cause that I am sure we are all feeling but unsure how to post about or what to say. Attached are some images we would encourage all Irish Brands to use and put on your page. Whether you have 5 or 5 million followers your words matter. Your voice matters. This platform is as strong as we make it. Possible caption to go with image: "Let's campaign for a ceasefire. Act today. Contact your local TD. Donate to organisations helping on the ground. Share a post or a story to your page today." Pop me a DM if you want me to email artwork to you- or just share this reel/ post to your page. This is not a political stance, this is a human ask. Best Regards, Michelle & Liz

As we say goodbye to 2021 let’s look back and remember the good. Yes another year of “new normal” was weird but life still goes on and brings with it some pretty amazing moments. These are my top 5. What are yours?! ✨ Pop in comments or just write them down today if you want a reminder. It’s a nice exercise, trust me! 1) Welcomed our 2nd son. Arthur James Power 💙💙 2) Bought our home. Finally! After 15 years together this was a massive milestone for my husband and I. 3)Met my nephew ❤️ and saw family again. Covid kept many of us apart for 2020. (2021 brought new babies and a fabulous family wedding 🥰) 4) My best friend got married 💞 Covid put this special date off so being able to celebrate it was amazing. 5) MPC survived a tough year. Like all business owners the pandemic threw my plans for 2021. But I have worked on some great projects this year and online teaching meant I could continue to Lecture remotely. Ok...I realise I had a great year ❤️ but trust me this is Instagram I could make another list of top 5 sucky moments. But for today.. and maybe for the year.. let’s focus on the joy! I am looking forward to seeing what 2022 has in store 💫 #newyear #5thingsIamgratefulfor #focusonthejoy #newhome #newbaby #marketingcork #marketingconsultant #marketinglecturer
