Honoured to be interviewed by @jasminebager for @arabnews . We’ve been chatting for months, and somehow, those chats unlocked memories I didn’t even know I had. Turns out, I’ve got a very vivid memory after all.
What makes this extra special is that 22 years ago, I’d go to Friday prayer with my dad, and afterwards, he’d give me 10 riyals to pick up a few newspapers — one of them was always Arab News. Never in a million years did I think I’d end up in it.
And to Jasmine — after all those long conversations, I’m pretty sure we’re friends now. Thank you for capturing my story so beautifully.
Feeling so grateful to be named one to watch for 2025 by @mixmag . It’s such a lovely way to reflect on the last 10 years and all the amazing moments along the way.

I’m honestly struggling to find the words right now.
The constant stream of bad news has been heavy. Watching everything unfold from afar, carrying the fear that people you love could be hurt, it sits in the chest and doesn’t really leave. It’s a kind of anxiety that follows you through the day.
I pray for calmer days. For protection. For every family. For every individual, no matter where they are.
For now, I need to step back from Instagram. It’s clear that staying plugged in is affecting me more than I realised.
First Klub Sukar of the year and what a night. Another one completely sold out and the energy was next level at @yamamoritengu
Cheb Runner absolutely smashed it and our residents kept the floor moving all night. To everyone who packed the place out and danced their socks off, thank you. Without you there would be no Klub Sukar.
