Thanks so much to everyone who came down to @yamamoritengu last month and sold out the place :) Was very special night! This Saturday is the 2nd edition! Vvv pumped to have the international night graced by @___faff___ and @drumsofjay I really wanted to bring them to Dublin after seeing them play stand out sets at @smut_press ⚡️ Will be playing back to back with Jay Duncan to warm things up. Been listening to her mixes a lot, I really admire her deep dubs, sleazy house and percussive productions. Closing things out are FAFF. The buzzers are behind the legendary @bde_bde_bde_ party/label in MOT and now @_4ever_4ever_4ever_ There is a joy to how playful their selections and productions are, flickered with some heartfelt high energy classics! The first edition of my Tengu residency is this Saturday. This is the locals night, I wanted to invite 3 people very dear to me who I will gush over below <3 Opening the night is Vani-T, a true underground head! I have always been so inspired by her sound. Her productions and mixes traverse so many genres and feelings for me; loopy, horny, punk, demented & scuzzy. Always unearthing the most slippery and rare records. She ran the femme party Climax in Berlin and has recently relocated back to Ireland. We met on the dance floor, where she introduced me to so many kindred spirits. Playing live is Soft Stone. Another friendship solidified over years of dancing beside each other. We would always meet in the basement of Twisted Pepper in early 2010s and has consistently been the best hug you’ll get on the floor! Enda has such a calming presence and been so supportive of the local scene in a myriad of ways; showing up to literally everything, sharing his resources, and being a general fountain of knowledge. We ran Dip together for years with Robbie. My favourite Jigsaw moment was when he played ‘Yello - Oh Yeah’. To this day I cannot hear a Steve Rachmad track without thinking of him. So excited to hear him play live, Open Ear 2018 attendees knowww how good it’s gonna be. Finishing off the night I’ll be playing B2B with my brother Fionn. Feel really grateful that we have had music to continue to stay connected to each other into our adult lives. His set in De School in 2023 is still one of the most inspiring sets I’ve ever seen & still hold this mix for Radiant Love as an all time favourite 💕 @fiofa____ @_enda Beautiful poster is by @blixa_ Thank you to @nevanjio and @ema_jg_ for making this possible x

Tengu Presents our next residency w/ Cáit!! ✨ Cáit has been part of the Tengu family since its inception, the first artist we called up to DJ at the club when we opened back up after lock-down and has been a regular in the booth since. It seemed only natural to invite her for the space’s next residency. She will run three shows over the course of three months inviting artists who inspire her to join. She invites Irish natives Fio Fa, Soft Stone (LIVE) & Vani-t for the first show, FAFF & Jay Duncan for the second and has an all night long stint to cap it all off! Dimming the lights a little at Arkaoda next Thursday, December 11th, Pattern Recall presents artists based in Dublin and Berlin working across various thresholds of art and music. Just in time for the winter, the night will showcase some deeper shades and jagged edges of electronic music, with live sets from Gweynn, Soria Reilly and Adam Sinclaire and DJ sets from Florence and Cáit as the night heats up. Better late than never! The first episode of our (slightly delayed) NTS residency premieres tonight at 10pm on channel 1. Joining us for the inaugural show is none other than Irish DJ, photographer and close friend Cáit Fahey. Cáit joins us to trace her musical journey, from her roots in Dublin’s alternative nightlife/community spaces like Jigsaw to formative experiences at Radiant Love in Berlin, as well as the evolving scene of her hometown of Dublin today and the power of the collective. The high energy she brings to the decks translates onto dancefloors big and small. Her selections are sentimental, while always forward thinking; blurring the lines between past and present in thrilling ways. With a penchant for the rolling, hypnotic and freaky elements found across multiple genres and eras of dance music.
