This Friday, firm friend @blixa_ will be joining us on the controls at @thecarpetshop.peckham . Blixa is an integeral part of London’s electronic scene. A core pillar of @thecauselondon nightclub, a graphics master, as well as playing peak time sets on the clubs famous in-house programming. He is a multi-genre Argentinian wizard, who is able to bounce between fast/slow pace dance music and marry them perfectly.
After a summer of international festival sets at Love International and Kala, as well as a string of London shows, including his recent debut at @fold.ldn in support for Pangaea and Anz, we are very excited for him to close of the year with us. Suspect him to be leaning more on his house-lead routes but we expect his set to be a true melting pot of genres. If his dancing is anything to go by, we imagine he’ll hypnotise the dancefloor to stepping long into the night and perhaps beyond…
saturday was fun, saturday was tekish 😁 to the person who asked for ‘more bpm’ one song into doors i hope you stuck around :))( all love for the front row steppers, for ru of course and @thecauselondon of course. long live the aliens, long live kevin smith, blondes have more fun y una noche oscura en el club de la locura xxx

A careless self slip, the single capture of Denises joy at gala, the blues of Albania, the thong song moment of Lemon Lounge, the set from Glasto and the many smiles, glares and looks in Croatia and Jio… king of the Adriatic Sea. I know, not a Houghton round up as everyone would have expected but coming away full hearted from it, I realised I never really announced or spoke of the last 2/3 months of @thecauselondon ’s mini tour. Not really captured any moments from actually playing (or enough PG pics tbh…) but very thankful to have played at Gala > Kala > Glasto > Love International, love to the crew always and to all the teams for the invites to play ❤️ From the dub set at Lemon Lounge to a Trip-hop special at the idilic Gjipe or warming up for the bestie at Olive Grove, soooo many core mems 🫂
May be the end of the fest season for me but a few more sets still to come with first up at Fold this Friday alongside Anz and Pangaea (love to @originssound for the invite) and another all night session at the second home AMF next Friday :)))))
been on a minute since I was on the captures but the first show shooting of the year brought out more club ghosts, hazy saturations and plenty of photos with rows of kombucha/maté bottles (only one made the cut sorry…) left behind by the bodies in motion whispering on occasion ‘are you going to waking life?’ — anyway scroll for a collection of snaps from @kineticldn at @ormsideprojects last Saturday, thanks to @dj__wiggles for the invite nd for putting on a sick night + props to @nicolegordon_lighting on the sick lights :) x

The year is 1998, your most listened to genres are Trance, Trip Hop, Liquid and Downtempo, you’ve bought the Tomorrow Never Dies DVD just to listen to Moby’s Re-Versioned ‘James Bond Theme’ and you’ve got LTJ Bukem’s Progression Sessions 1 side b spinning… you may think what’s this got to do with the new poster series I’ve done for @spray.forever ’s residency at @yamamoritengu but I guess you’ll just have to figure that out :)
shout out to @ema_jg_ for the trust forever and always
