Call Waiting – created with dance artist and Associate Lecture Amy Morvell (
@morvelldance ) - invites second year students into the charged, unsettled space that involves in the moments after a phone call ends. The work delve into the quiet turbulence of waiting: the pause that allows unanswered questions to expand, and the spiralling assumptions that follow. Through richly textured movement and an atmosphere shaped by music from Tzusing and Max Richter, the dancers navigate the emotional undercurrent of anticipation, uncertainty, and the stories we build in the silence.
