We are extremely excited to be hosting a workshop with the incredible @s_keyknee in March, here’s a little more about her: Sarah Keeney is an teacher, choreographer and performer based in California. Inspired by her first dance class at the age of three, her fascination developed into a diverse career that encompasses performance on stilts, on the ground, and flying through the air across the US and internationally. Stylistically, Sarah anchors in contemporary dance with a focus on release technique and its intersection with vertical dance and storytelling. Since 2015, her work with Bandaloop has been vital to her artistic and collaborative development. Sarah has facilitated dance and movement at universities, orphanages, studios, and in the streets around the world. Her choreographic endeavors have ranged from experimental small black box theater works to large outdoor site-specific creations. In addition to her dance career, Sarah is committed to supporting the mental health of her communities with a specialization in crisis work and suicide prevention. https://sarahkeeney.carrd.co/ .
