Not only because of the work of art created , but simply what it took to get to this moment…the highs, lows, moments I felt stuck but realizing that was actually God protecting and preserving me. Grateful for listening to the voice within that echoed “keep going dayo” not abandoning dreams and aspirations due to life challenges or doubts. This is a testimony of the power of never giving up on self. This album is for JERSEY. I’m proud of the art but even more proud of the man I’ve become thru out this process. Quitting gigs, moving family across the country and ironically dropping the album in the same day we moved to LA 2yrs ago. This is divine and all happened from faith, work, and in Gods timing not mine. Thank you to @jesseboykins3rd & @joshuakissi for challenging me for the greater good and creating this body of work with me. No better feeling than releasing this body of work and looking to my left and right and being surrounded with the breadens I started with.
