From 29th April to 10th May we joined John Grzinich and Evelyn Grzinich (MoKS), and @georgs_viljams_hibneris for Koidukoor an event series introducing the core concepts of ecological radio ahead of the co-created broadcast Reveil which took place on the 4-5th of May. thinking on: flat listening - Ecological Radio - borders and borderless listening - dusk walks - dawn walks - co creation - more than human collaborators - anti-hierarchical radio production - slow radio - slow making - geologic time scale - local and planetary rhythms - networks - crowd shyness - omni-directional microphones without directional subject - language barriers - radio as communication technology - smiling as communication technology - thick air - streambox workshops - open source - knowledge exchanges - community settings - new possibilities - readdressing extractive systems - preservation - distribution and distance With thanks to John and Evelyn for inviting us, @georgs_viljams_hibneris for joining us, the students of @eka_estonian_academy_of_arts who joined us at the Ahja River valley Soundcamp, and the participants of the Mooste Youth Group who invited us to run a Streambox Workshop.
