Run of show: Video short by Proc Fiskal Performance by New York Gregorian Chant Project Lecture by Mark Leckey titled “Batter my heart, three-person’d God” Performance by Switch Angel (@_switch_angel ) DJ set by Mark Leckey Bios: Through its educational outreach, the New York Gregorian Chant Project teaches singers to learn and perform a wide repertoire of medieval chant at a high level of interpretation and historical insight. Switch Angel is the high energy dance music project of Boston based musician and software engineer, Jade Rose. As Switch Angel, she creates electronic music using strudel, a javascript based live coding environment to which she contributes development. In performance, Switch Angel is joined by visual artist and fellow software engineer, Jame Coyne, who contributes realtime concert visuals to match her improvised high-energy dance music and vocals. Mark Leckey (b. 1964) is an artist based in London. Recent solo exhibitions were presented at Lafayette Anticipations in Paris and Guggenheim Museum Bilbao.

Through selection the pair continues to carry the spirit of classic sound system culture. Shira Chess is an Associate Professor of Entertainment and Media Studies at the University of Georgia. Her books include “The Unseen Internet: Conjuring the Occult in Digital Discourse” (2026), “Play Like a Feminist” (2020), and “Ready Player Two: Women Gamers and Designed Identity” (2017). Onyx Ashanti (b. 1970) is a musician, programmer, inventor, instrument builder, and self-described “autonomous-expressor” known for his improvisational sound performances translated from gesture and movement via what he calls Sonocybernetics, a continued and ever-deepening inquiry into sound and technology through biohacking or perceptual recalibration.
