Grid City in deep winter. Captured and colored by @dhash . In the words of Architectural Digest, Grid City is “A Running Tour for Design and Architecture Fans That Isn’t Run-of-the-Mill”. Thank you to every runner that has joined us since launching Grid City in October. It hasn’t gotten any warmer, but the group keeps getting bigger.
Visit for the full calendar of future runs and topics. Hosted in partnership with local designer @pauljmorimoto , each month features a new topic, route and subject-matter guide who leads the group's run and education. As a brand designed, tested and made in New York City, the built environment informs our design language and we seek to strengthen this relationship and share our inspiration with the wider community through this series.
The next Grid City run will be Tuesday, February 10 at 7am in the public lobby of 180 Maiden Lane. Easy 4-mile run followed by coffee and pastries. Bag check available. Register on Strava for the route.
@bearbones__ 50-ish mile race ☑️. Highlights:

2. Shared 27+ miles with great company
3. Bear Mountain views
4. Reminder to visit the Ed Hopper House (which is actually the building next door 🤦♂️)
5. The city is in sight
6. Thankful for all the friends who came out to the finish
7. One of the masterminds behind this whole adventure, thank you for encouraging me to do challenging things, and for cheering for hours after doing this yourself 🙏
8. My wife is the best and I really wanted to finish so we could hang out
