The theme of Desacralisation thus refers to our time of liquefaction of typically twentieth-century solid bodies, for the benefit of a container/content and form/function relationship that is always different and evolving. We have therefore liquefied the icon of the historical Chandelier, typically as majestic as still, in order to reconfigure it in a more contemporary dimension and contextualise it in a space that is therefore dense with dichotomies such as sacred-profane, immobile-flexible, past-present.
Desacralized by @galerie.philia is an exhibition featuring over 20 international artists, each exploring the concept of desacralisation.

Morghen Studio, the Italian design practice founded by Roberto Tarter and Rodolfo Viola, explores the raw beauty of brass, stone and glass through sculptural furniture. Each piece shows their love of imperfect, natural forms and their hands-on approach to working with materials.â

LIGHT & RITUAL
Ophelia 25-10 is a free-standing luminous installation by @morghenstudio created for @intrecci.intertwinings exploring intertwining as a metaphor for connection.
Welding becomes a âscarâ that binds, dignifying the act of joining disparate elements into a unified composition. The work is built from linear elements closed on themselves, suspended in a fragile, taut equilibrium where each form illuminates and is illuminated, shades and is shaded.
Each slender tube is uniquely folded and bent, emphasizing the delicate rhythm between the parts, while the light sources appear to inhabit the structure in a seemingly casual yet intentional way.

Roberto Tarter and Rodolfo Viola are MORGHEN, a multidisciplinary duo working on the boundaries between design, art, and craftsmanship. Their practice spans lighting, furniture, and collectible design, each piece born from deep technical and formal research.
Blending artisan heritage with contemporary experimentation, their works are never self-referred; instead, they engage in dialogue with space and user, expressing a distinctive energy and soul.
From their renovated carpenterâs workshop in Milanâs Bovisa district, every piece is conceived, developed, and handcrafted with care. Alongside their collection, they also create bespoke projects through prototypes, drawings, and visualizations, enriching the design process to meet each clientâs unique vision.

MAYA I wall lamp.
Designed In collaboration with @aim.studio , Maya is a wall sconce that explores the tension between appearance and reality, drawing inspiration from the philosophical concept of the âveil of Mayaâ by Arthur Schopenhauer. In his vision, the veil obscures the true nature of thingsâa metaphor that comes to life in this sculptural light piece.
Crafted from solid brass, aluminum, and textured glass, Maya offers a layered interplay of materiality and illumination. Two distinct light sourcesâa warm LED and the gentle flicker of candlelightâmerge behind a translucent veil of glass. The result is a subtle, ever-shifting ambiance that invites contemplation and quiet attention.
The glass, like Schopenhauerâs veil, conceals as much as it reveals. What lies behind itâtechnology and flameâblends into a singular presence, both contemporary and elemental.
Maya is a meditation on perception, duality, and the hidden layers of truth that light can gently unveil.
