A little rain was never gonna stop us. This ended up being a pretty epic day of shooting.

To say this moment was rad, would be an injustice. It was epic. I’m very thankful for @outsidetv for having me on this adventure, and allowing me to capture this moment. I’ve never been involved in something like this, but as I expected being an animal lover, it really gave me the feels

I recently traveled around Florida with @brookslaich in the all new #landroverdefender

Our first stop was meeting up with a guy named @kampkenan . This dude loves Turtles and all sorts of animals. Within seconds of arriving I could feel his positive energy, and knew this was going to be an awesome day of shooting, and was not disappointed. We got to check out his home which is also a home to hundreds of other animals so I’ll share some of those images in the future.

Anyway…….about this image. Kenan received a phone call about an Owl that was stuck in a high school soccer net, and needed help. He drove down there and captured the Owl and took it to a friend who’s a vet and they determined that the owl had some sort of respiratory infection so Kenan decided to keep the owl and nurse it back to health. All was good, but the owl needed to go back to the wild.

And that’s the day we showed up. How cool, right? Anyway, we drove out to the middle of the swamps in Florida and Kenan opened the cage with Brooks. After a few minutes, the owl decided it was time to go into the Wild. It flew off it what I’m calling an epic moment.

the whole crew was rooting for that Owl. We all wanted to him fly off and it was really cool to capture this moment.
