East Side Bay plunges us into the turmoil of the creative rat race, the angst of the artist sifting through the sludge to find a glimmer of gold. As they writhe through the tumult, their sanity is questioned - the incredible trumpet playing of @_solparadise setting this off with a superb finesse.
I’ve spent the last 2 months drawing over 4500 frames to make the frame by frame animation. Watch the full video here as we see Mopher drive deeper into a surreal world of dancing figures and daydream follies. It’s a big ambition of mine to be as creatively uninhibited as possible and I think animation is the ultimate progression of illustration. I’m proud of this project and am excited to expand upon my learnings and fully delve into the world w my next release!!
The writing/production process is always an absolute pleasure w my bro @solparadise - this song is as much his as it is mine!
