Excited to reveal my official poster for this year’s @sxsw film and television. When considering the concept for this year, i kept circling back to an old super 8 camera that friends and I used to make claymation videos. We would shoot, then develop and physically cut and splice the film to get our end result, which was usually just adolescent madness. But gave me, and I’m sure many others in the world, a massive appreciation and inspiration for all that goes towards cinema and to where it has evolved. I am honored and humbled to have been asked to create and contribute to this event and I will be at @flatstock in Austin on Wednesday, slinging prints with my fellow poster artists, trying our best to impress❤️

This print was made from concept to completion while I was out in Colorado visiting my main man Joe T. aka Moon Light Speed.
I’m super proud of what we made. This was the easiest collaborative experience I’ve had and it just goes to show that combining forces can bring out the best in both of us. There will be more to come

Hey! I never posted this Illustration I made for @teddyswims because I have no proof if this poster ever came into existence, I mean, I was paid and that was REALLY cool, but for me, I never feel like it's real until I'm holding something physical in my hands. I figure I should catch up on posting stuff since I've been a bit lazy with my relationship with the internet.
‘Laurel’ is a 3 color, 11x17” print I live printed during @artma.denver on Saturday. I wish I would have taken some actual photos of the event, but I had my hands full with printing and chatting.
My mom left us last Friday evening, i have so much to say about her and the tools she gave as a human being but i will spare everyone a long, emotional rant. She was my biggest cheerleader and always put my sister and I before anything else in life, even in the most scarce of times in my youth, she showed me that we can be safe and strong when we band together. She taught us to be free and always encouraged us to be curious, appreciative and to always say ‘ i love you’ before we leave, which is exactly what was the last thing she said to me. The past year has been the most difficult of my life, but also the most special, to set myself and my own pursuits aside for her was a lesson and a blessing. Thank you to everyone, I am sad, I am okay, and I am filled with love. Cheers to my mom❤️
Last night I watched my daughter, unprompted give her brand new stuffed animal to my mother who has been fighting a losing battle to cancer over the past year. All evening I watched my mom hold on and cuddle the stuffed lop eared rabbit like a little girl and I realized that at our end, all we want in this world is to feel love and comfort. Both with and without intent over the past year I have shrank my world to concentrate on those immediately around me, yet in the palm of my hand I have a window into the world raging outside, it’s scary! I am an ant amongst billions, and I am hoping that EVERYONE can overcome their fear of scarcity and hate of the unfamiliar to work together to abolish their oppressors. I drew these some time ago, I never posted them because I am not fond of negativity and I don’t like to feed it, but it seems to be running rampant with or without my help. If you want to use them for anything, hit me up and I’ll give you the print ready files. How did this post go from me witnessing something blindingly good to my woes of our nation? It’s sequential chaos, just like the rest of the universe! Make love and take care of each other!

Tonight’s poster for @graveyardchoirband casket round up party. This art is the last of the blood and gold series that I’ve had fun with over the past two months. This was the first illustration I made for the series and I’m pretty sure it’s my favorite, not sure why.
