We are just about a week away from welcoming our 3rd deathcare resident of 2026, Monyee Chau! They are a local artist, advocate and over all brilliant kind soul. With a heart rooted in storytelling, their community partner will be @genprideseattle ! With time, elders questions and care there is surely something magical ahead. For their community offering Monyee will be offering a zine workshop for a small group of 7 people at asphodel on Sunday May 24th. We will share registration for that soon.
We look forward to sharing the space with you the next two weeks. Thank you for trust @monyeeart
unbelievably stoked to announce i’m part of the moving stories cohort for @kc4culture and @kcmetrobus to develop two short form graphic novels based on king county rapidride lines!
from a legacy of the rapidride art plan that was put together by two artists i deeply admire, alongside project advisors who are *serious* badasses, and an absolutely incredible cohort i get to be a part of… i am so grateful that my career allows me to be in community with such incredible people! see y’all on the buses! 🫡🚏🚎
thank you to everyone who is being so patient with me during these bonkers times! i am in the midst of *immense* travel and probably the largest projects i’ve had to date, and i know im not the best with your emails or texts right now - but i’m trying and will get back to you 💗
you might know that one of the projects i feel most excited about is this homage to the organizing across west coast chinatowns- @chinatown.auntie and i had our first book trip, landing in oakland, and had a really special time. some sneak peeks at my sketch book from our time there, (i’m revitalizing my drawing practice!) and excited to share these conversations about connecting our struggles through these important places.
bonus pic of my ahma and i sharing juk at the last slide :- )
i made the biggest thing i’ve ever made in ceramics!!! it’s a foot tub for medicinal foot baths :’ )
ty @jesschengstudio for teaching me how to make big, and @voceramics for helping me glaze ¨̮
happy aries season 🌱 today i am 30 and i never expected life to be so abundant and full. i am unbelievably blessed.❣️
and bless the babies born with 6 aries placements today?!
Do you have a *GRASSROOTS ORG* Chinatown campaign shirt? 👕 Do you also want to be a part of artwork that is about solidarity built across Chinatowns? 🌎
We’re making a quilt showcasing the radical movements in Chinatowns across the country - Inspired by Black American quilting as a roadmap to liberation, we hope to harnass the dreams, labor, and struggle in individual Chinatowns to inspire resistance across Asian America. If you share your shirt, you can expect to receive a zine in return! 💞
You know where to find the 🔗🥳

I am thankful for Sue, Auntie Karen, Auntie Connie and so many others for all they have taught me! Please submit in link in bio!
