Frank (@frankmorrison ) and Tyreek (@moneyteam ) Morrison are bringing a father-son dialogue to @aldayhunkengallery for Future Fair 2026 at Booth U11. The duo exhibition explores what it looks like to pass down a craft while carving out a separate lane, leaning into the tension between inheritance and personal style.
Frank’s work is rooted in a heavy, figurative narrative built from years of lived experience, while Tyreek moves into a more atmospheric, suspended register. The installation sees how two different generations process the same social and emotional histories through paint.
On view through May 16 at Future Fair on 535 W 28th St in NYC.
In the studio with Tyreek Morrison (@moneyteam ) ahead of @futurefairs .
Tyreek paints across time. He moves between what was and what is, holding both in the same body of work. He describes the practice as bridging the gap, a deliberate movement across generations rendered through his own visual language.
The lineage is not only visual. Tyreek speaks of recognising in his father’s work the music that scored its making, the same records that now play in his own studio. Inheritance carried through frequency as much as through form.
Frank paints from memory. Tyreek paints from both. Together the booth becomes a generational conversation rendered in two distinct visual languages, drawn from a shared inheritance. The work asks what it means to receive a creative impulse and then make it entirely your own.

Still on the fence about postin my work on this app. On one side, I want people to feel the stories I’m telling through my art. But on the other, I don’t want it to get hoed out or flipped into some trendy shit.🤷🏾♂️
