I can’t say thank you enough to every single model, friend, and supporter who trusted me with their hair, tans, and makeup while I learned, practiced, and grew. What started off 5 years ago as a hobbie (and honestly felt like something I needed to prove to myself), spray tanning so many of you in basements, late at night, and even practicing on my dad (lol) has become a passion I wake up living for each day, eventually expanding to hair and makeup. You gave me the space to make mistakes, to keep trying, and to build the confidence I have today. 🖤
A special thank you to my family, my man and my village of people who reminded me to never give up — who stood by me when things felt dark or out of reach, and who believed in me even when I doubted myself. Your love and encouragement carried me here. A special thank you to God who allows me to put all trust in him that my path was meant for me. For creating a space within me to believe in myself, and for guiding me through all the peaks and valleys this life has to offer.
This journey has taught me that it’s okay to go off course, to try something new, and to start over — no matter where you are in life. It’s never too late to chase the things that set your soul on fire, and I’m so grateful to have found my path in beauty.
My favorite part of this all isn’t even the work I do (obviously I jump for joy at every appointment) but it’s the special people I’ve been blessed to meet. My clients and I often joke about how beauty is therapy to them, but it has always been my therapy, my safe space, and my lifeline too.
Here’s to new beginnings, endless growth, and doing what I love every single day.
P.s.
A super honorable mention to my mentors who have pushed me along the way. I truly wouldn’t be me without all of you, and I wake up each day wanting to be like you, you’ll never know the true impact you’ve made on my talent, confidence and spirit. For that I’m eternally grateful. My advice is to find someone in the room you want to be, bug the crap out of them until they teach you, and run with it.
