Free Immersion (FIM) - 76 m ✔️
I hadn’t even planned to do free immersion this year since it’s definitely not my favorite discipline. But two weeks ago my monofin suddenly cracked in four different places, 😔 so I found myself with some extra time to give FIM another chance. Today at the competition I announced a national record and I did it! Maybe this is a sign that I should start training free immersion a bit more seriously. 😇

This time, the final episode rises from the depths of the Slovenian sea, along with the last TV feature that will air next Sunday (24 May) on @nedeljsko_popoldne . Katja ventured into the blue of the sea with exceptional freediver @mojcahaberman , and afterwards we all soaked up a bit more sun on the shore before treating ourselves to one amazing pizza beneath the cliffs.

That sentence stayed with me through the whole training in the Philippines. Not every dive went the way I wanted, but every single one taught me something. A lot of learning, a lot of patience.. and honestly, that’s probably the key to anything we really want.
