REC:DH at Dojo Haus - Join us as we film episode 005 of our YouTube series that allows artists to showcase their music in an intimate setting.
This Sunday 5/17 - 830pm. We will be filming @modpsy_ as he takes us down a rabbit hole of his inspirations and original productions.
ModPsy blends deep hypnotic grooves, cerebral textures, intricate sound design, and immersive psychedelic soundscapes into driving, dancefloor-focused journeys. Venezuelan born, Florida raised and now based in the mountains of Colorado, Dre Hernandez — the artist behind ModPsy — is also co-owner of Dojo Haus, an underground art gallery and music venue hosting national and international electronic artists. Modpsy is the evolution of Dre’s 15+ years involved in the music industry as a DJ, Producer, and Consumer. Inspired by all facets of electronic music and its history with a subtle nod to nature and psychedelia - Modpsy always takes us where we need to go and we are very excited to document this session.
$10 at the door goes to supporting this project and series.

After speaking with our fellow Coloradan asking him to contribute to the series was inevitable. His contribution to us is a more stripped back mix - riding around 123-126 bpm. What a pleasure it is to play music - especially with your friends. It was an honor to be able to bring @mikegervais to our humble @dojo.haus here in the mountains. It’s rare I find people in both niche worlds of techno music and rock climbing - and I’m grateful Mike and I connected those years ago. I was able to warm up the room from 11-2. Mike took the reins from 2-5am and had the dancefloor blazing until the lights came on. Thanks to everyone who made it a special sold out night at the Dojo Haus. 🖤
