Next week, I will be making my London Craft Week debut ( exciting ! ! ) as part of the multidisciplinary exhibition Seven Crafted Stories. The show runs from the 11th to 17th May at @atelier_seventy_six - a beautiful West London townhouse, grounded in process, material curiosity, and the vibrant energy of the city.Curated by ceramicist Emma Louise-Payne, the exhibition spans seven rooms, each celebrating a different material discipline. Featuring work from the talented @rhgoldsworthy_art @otziltd @aimeebetts @jochen.holz @davey.makes and @emmalouisepayneI love seeing my work in these curated interior spaces, amongst such talented makers, feeling very grateful for the opportunities that have come my way this year - and excited about what’s ahead Please RSVP studio@emmalouisepayne.com if you would like to come celebrate at the Wednesday night launch party - or feel free to explore the show in your own time throughout the week, 1-6pm @londoncraftweek

Last month I exhibited in the gorgeous new flagship store of Scottish perfumer Jorum Studio, alongside the lovely @ebbagoring @shengzhang.metalwork as part ofJorum Studio x Craft Scotland, Precious Metals in Marylebone.A multi-sensory destination, celebrating parallels between the cultures of modern perfumery and contemporary craftDreamy to see my boxes looking cosy next to these Mackintosh chairs, thank you to Chloe and Ewan for inviting us into your beautiful space - furniture sourced by Leiths finest @bard.scotlandPhotography by @fraserscott for @craftscotland @jorumstudio

She's finished ! ! I have been working really hard to complete this piece ahead of Goldsmiths Fair, and I'm excited to share this first look ~~~~~ The clover box all shiny and new.This box was made during my residencey in Shetland with @southhousesilverworkshop and finished off here in my studio in Glasgow. The coiled hinge has been set with a smokey quartz sourced directly from the Cairngorms by @scottishgemstones - the perfect final touch to a design that’s inherently Scottish ️Thank you @gabiesilveira for capturing this piece so beautifully before it heads down to LondonJust one week today I will be setting up at my first Goldsmiths Fair. Open to the public 23 - 28 September, for those of you that would like to come sneak a peek at my new collection in person @goldsmithsfair@craftscotland@rod.kelly

Ring sizing! To minimise waste and get a good fit most of my rings are made to order. Although some styles can be resized it’s best we try to get it right before the silver hits my bench. The easiest way to get an accurate measurement is to pop in and see me in person ~ if you’re Glasgow based come to dennistoun for a cuppa and a chat Alternatively you can pop in to a trusted jeweller or request I send you a sizer in the post, please note that wider bands run slightly more snug than your average ring gauge so the more information we have the better To order bespoke, email monicafindlay.maker@gmail.com and we can chat any size enquiries through

Delighted to share that The Clover Box was awarded Silver in the Handcrafted Silver category of this year’s Goldsmiths Craft and Design Council Awards!Thank you to the judging panel @gcdcawards and @clothworkers_co for the recognition - and for the lovely photograph of my piece! And thank you to @rod.kelly @southhousesilverworkshop for the tuition during my Shetland residency last year And big congratulations to @gsa_sj on another school trophy! Had a lovely eve celebrating with you talented bunch I didn’t get a picture of myself on my 24hr London excursion so here’s one of @finlaygdesign and @dodi.worrall liverying it up in their matching suits.. ️
