Hello, there has been an influx of new people here recently, so hi there and thank you for following!
I'm Ebba, I make contemporary fine jewellery inspired by textiles and the stories held in materials.
My work brings together processes layered upon each other: hand fabrication, wax carving, needlework, mould making and lost-wax casting; transforming stitched textiles into precious metal. Pieces often include carefully selected gemstones or ceramic colour plating for a bold colour drenched effect.
My studio is based in Burntisland on the Fife coast in Scotland. I'm inspired by heritage textiles, both decorative (embroidery and crochet) and functional (net making, blankets and cloth), motifs and patterns that span centuries that I reinterpret into contemporary fine jewellery.
My collections range from colourful one-of-a-kind statement pieces to fine gold jewellery designed to be worn every day and always.
Alongside my collections, I work closely with clients on bespoke commissions, including engagement rings, wedding rings and remodelling treasured family jewellery into new pieces to wear and love.
If you are interested in commissioning a piece or learning more about my work, feel free to get in touch.

Back in the workshop after a very special couple weeks in Japan 🇯🇵✨
I’m full of inspiration from ornate temples, textures, and the beauty of everyday details. There’s something about stepping away that sharpens everything when you return, ideas feel clearer and I'm all refreshed with renewed focus for a busy few months ahead.
In the workshop today, a piece in progress: an Oval Solitaire Stitch Ring in 14ct gold, I've placed the stone to see how it will look once set, love this colour of gold with this sapphire 💙
The fine stitched texture, a reminder of the textile roots behind all of my work, translated slowly into metal.
It’s good to be back at the bench.
Having a couple of weeks in Japan with my family. Super inspiring and loving travelling around this incredible country. Timed this pretty well to still see some beautiful sakura 🌸
A very pretty sapphire to make into an Oval Solitaire Stitch Ring. I like that it's darker at the edges, looks like blue watercolour suspended in water. A stone with a bit of personality 💙

News ✨ I am very excited to announce that I’ve been awarded the Goldsmiths’ Centre’s 2026 Business Catalyst (Large) Grant! ✨
A huge thank you to @gsmithscentre for this opportunity, and to @goldsmithsfoundation for providing the funding that makes this grant possible.
This grant provides support that will enable me to invest in two main development strands: establishing nano-ceramic colour plating in my workshop with relevant training, alongside advanced stone-setting training with Edinburgh-based jeweller Balint Samad. Bringing these processes in-house will allow for more experimentation, and enable more complex, one-of-a-kind designs. The project also includes structured research, testing, and a professional editorial-style photoshoot to showcase my work, expand my business, and continue exploring new ideas and innovations within my practice.
I'm incredibly grateful to be recognised and supported in this way. I can’t wait to get started!

Ebba Goring Spins Gold (and Silver)
Thank you @bsiminitz for writing this article for @jckmagazine , I am absolutely delighted to have my jewellery collections featured and speak about the inspiration and processes behind my work. ✨🙏
“That sense of delicacy is very intentional, and it’s something I really love about working with these processes. The jewelry can appear light and airy, but it still has the strength and durability of precious metal."

Not shared too much recently as I am currently busying away with remodeling projects, bespoke commissions, designing and quotes for clients. Look forward to sharing some of these transformations once they are complete! I'll be updating my website this week with some new pieces that can be made to order or that are ready to ship. I have a couple of times for appointments in the next two weeks (online or in the studio), then again from May, so do get in touch if you are thinking about a piece of jewellery and fancy a chat about it.
