With releases described as “utterly intoxicating” (Foxy Digitalis), “cascading with iridescent beauty” (Boomkat), “mesmerising” (Stationary Travels) and “intimately minimalist” (Beat), Fecso & Morley create a collective exhale and meditation on reciprocity with nature, collectivity and the questions presented along life’s path. Performing a special live set will be celestial multi-instrumentalist Grace Ferguson (@gracierf ). Drawing from historic traditions and encounters ranging from the ordinary to the mythic, her works combine composed and improvised material that continually examines the tension between the planned and practiced, and what remains out of our control. had an incredible time at @signals_sound_laboratory last week sharing new music, exploring old laboratory test gear, and soaking up all the weird and wonderful a/v magic 🎛️⚡️🎆 there’s an incredible community around the lab, so i highly recommend anyone in the walyalup/fremantle area stop by for a hang and a jam in an absolute one-of-a-kind space. thanks to @djklsoundsystem for organizing, lana for the performance video, will axton for the visuals and gaëtan schurrer for the beautiful audio recording.

Oxtail Recordings beach trip incoming! Oct 19 at Frank’s Wild Years 🌊 Join us for an afternoon of sun-soaked and salt-sprayed ambience at the legendary @frankswildyearsrecordbar with Oxtail head Mike Nigro and Jordan Ireland. Mike Nigro is an electronic musician and label operator currently based on Gadigal land. His solo practice and collaborations draw inspiration from the minimalists, early synthesizer pioneers, and contemporary electronic underground. His latest releases Leaving/Returning and Low Light both feature his signature blend of rippling arpeggios, cloud-soft chords, and self-schooled sound design with a tonal sensibility indebted to the 70s kosmische canon. Jordan Ireland is a multi-instrumentalist songwriter and composer residing on Dharawal land in the Illawarra. He leads the experimental chamber pop collective Purple Orchestra as well as the heart to heart bedroom project, Stolen Violin and is a former member of far north Queensland folk collective The Middle East. He makes empathetic music across a diverse range of genres and mediums. His latest record, Spirit Walking, is a collection of instrumental piano motifs. 3 PM // $15 Poster by @calla_discs

stoked to be kicking off a run of shows across this big weird country. road testing heaps of new music in rooms full of new folks. when i moved to australia i knew next to no one but i had no doubt that music would help me find and connect with my people. touring is always great but this set of shows is extra meaningful to me as it’a a real live manifestation of the connections i’ve made and the communities that have welcomed me. looking forward to seeing old friends and meeting new ones. poster by the one & only @_____overflow see you at the gig 🔊🎆
