Realm 3 : Desire for Control Superstitions foster positive expectations and provide hope, even in challenging circumstances. These emotions can contribute to belief in superstitions. Participating in these rituals offer a peace of mind and a sense of structure. These performances and objects can act as charms to control one’s fate and luck; offering a sense of comfort to the otherwise distressing or fulfilling occasions. Furthermore, these rituals enable us to articulate our thoughts and feelings, helping us to recognise the moment of change and navigate the next step. #interactiveart #unrealengine #visualart #art #3dart #mediaart #touchdesigner #newmediaart #creativecoding #digitalart #newmediaart #nature #superstition #realm

Shifting (Interactive Art | Video Game) Nature is quiet, but it was never silent. Climate change is shaking many ecosystems, leading to biodiversity decline and ecosystem instability. This shift signifies more than species migration; it marks a rupture in the longstanding relationship between humans and nature. Human interventions, from industrial activities to land use changes, have accelerated climate change and destabilised ecosystems, leading to biodiversity loss and altered natural rhythms. [Shifting] confronts this crisis by exploring how human actions reshape the environment while challenging the balance between control and coexistence. Through an interactive installation and an immersive virtual realm, the project not only documents environmental change but also urges us to reconsider our connection with nature in a rapidly transforming world.

[Entangled Beings] This project is an artistic exploration of the body and identity in the age of intelligence. Drawing on Rosi Braidotti’s concept of the posthuman, it views the body not as a fixed self but as a hybrid entity shaped through interactions with technology, nature, and non-human life. While AI fragments and controls the body as data, the distributed intelligence of fungi, bacteria, and plants destabilizes human-centered perspectives. This project asks whether the body remains an autonomous subject or continuously transforms through entanglement with non-human agents. Inspired by ecological interconnectedness and organic patterns, we explore a third form of intelligence—beyond the human—through the fusion of art, science, and technology.

Why do people still believe in superstitions? When the future feels uncertain, people often seek to control their fate, desiring to grasp destiny in their hands. Superstitions respond to this longing. Co:beliefs or Commonality of Beliefs — a work by mmii @mmii.work — enters this fragile territory. A cinematic journey into the rituals people build to cope with the ambiguity and anxiety. Like ribbons wrapped around a tree, we symbolically shape our path. This film unfolds across a VR experience and a 360° environment, turning belief into something you can step inside. Here, superstition becomes more than folklore. It becomes a shared emotional language for connection and cultural continuity. Watch Co:beliefs on CIFRA — and decide for yourself: do superstitions still matter? Tell us what you think.

[Metallic Environment] Moving back and forth unpredictably, the metallic structure undergoes sudden transformations inducing confusion and enhancing vibrancy. From midway, it navigates both realistic but abstract spaces, demonstrating the disruptive nature of dreams. Like how a place emerges in a dream, the presence of a person emerges as particles, but remains elusive in identity so stimulating curiosity.
