During SXSW London, we’re bringing together the music management community for an exclusive evening of connection, conversation, and industry exchange at the SXSW x MMF Manager Mixer. Created exclusively for MMF Pro and Company Members, this special gathering will bring together artist managers, industry leaders, and key voices from across the music business for an evening dedicated to building relationships and strengthening the wider management community. Set against the backdrop of one of the world’s leading cultural and creative festivals, the mixer offers an opportunity to connect with peers old and new, discuss the evolving challenges and opportunities shaping the industry, and celebrate the vital role managers continue to play in developing artists and careers. The evening will also mark the launch of the newly revised and updated MMF Fan Data Guide - an essential resource featuring insights and contributions from managers, lawyers, and leading data experts from across the music industry. The updated guide explores the changing landscape of fan engagement, audience ownership, and data strategy, providing practical tools and guidance for today’s artist teams. Whether you’re looking to expand your network, exchange ideas with fellow professionals, or learn more about the future of fan data and artist development, the SXSW x MMF Manager Mixer promises an evening of meaningful conversation and valuable connections within the music management community. Entry is strictly guestlist only. Please note that submitting an RSVP does not guarantee entry. All-Member Survey Launches Today - Win Tickets to the Artist & Manager Awards! Today we’re launching our annual member survey, which has become increasingly important to the advocacy and innovation work we do on your behalf. Since launching in 2019, the survey has informed our Managing Expectations reports, exploring members’ evolving business models, challenges, and impact across the industry. Last year, we aligned the survey with sister organisations across the EMMA network and used insights gathered over the past seven years to publish our Value of Music Management report. It’s incredibly important that members give 20–30 minutes of their time to help us shape our services and continue building an industry that works better for you. This year’s survey will inform a short report focused on the challenges many members face around contract enforcement, including issues such as post-term payments. It will also help us continue building evidence around where managers need greater support, investment, and opportunities for growth. As a thank you, everyone who completes the survey will be entered into a prize draw to win tickets to the Artist & Manager Awards and the Manager Summit. Have your say! Survey link in bio
