After months of preparation, we are proud to officially announce the launch of MK Impresari, a new opera agency representing over 50 distinguished artists across the globe. From established stars to rising voices, our roster reflects the breadth, brilliance, and individuality of today’s opera world. As Director Marcin Kopec shares: “MKI is an agency united by a singular vision: to bring back the true essence of opera by placing the human voice at the very heart of everything we do. Inspired by the golden era of singing, our agency stands apart in a world where production often eclipses expression. We believe the voice — pure, unfiltered and deeply expressive — remains the most powerful instrument in the world. MKI artists take centre stage at @staatsoperstuttgart across an exciting range of productions in the 26/27 season. Opening the season, @marigonaqerkezi takes on the title role in Tosca on 4th October. @pawelkonikbaritone appears in no fewer than five productions across the season, including The Cunning Little Vixen, Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk, a Liedkonzert and a performance of Lieder eines fahrenden Gesellen, Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg, and Der Rosenkavalier. Alexei Botnarciuc @botnarciuc joins the cast of The Gambler as the General in December, while January sees @derek.welton step into the title role of Der fliegende Holländer. Congratulations to @elminahasanmezzo on the completion of her exceptional debut at the @liceu_opera_barcelona as Charlotte in Werther. Her performances have received widespread critical acclaim, garnering praise for her “remarkable stage presence and dynamism, which gave her character special prominence,” while especially highlighting her “strong performance in her major scene in the third act, singing with expressiveness and elegance” (Platea Magazine). Just one night after her highly anticipated debut as Dalila, @aigul_akhmetshina_mezzo will sing at the Royal Ballet & Opera’s 2026 Spring Gala on 14th May, where she will perform alongside fellow operatic superstars including Freddie De Tommaso, Pretty Yende, Sir Bryn Terfel, and more. The evening of operatic classics will feature music direction by Jakub Hrůša and Martin Georgiev. #MKImpresari #MKIArtists

We’re delighted to announce that 12 MKI Artists will feature prominently in the upcoming season at Teatr Wielki, Polish National Opera @operanarodowa . The season opens on 2nd October with Roméo et Juliette, featuring @rafal_siwek_bass as Friar Laurence alongside @pawelkonikbaritone as Capulet. In The Mothers of Kherson, receiving its world premiere on 16th October, Ólafur Sigurdarson @olisigurdarson takes on the role of the Bus Driver, Tadeusz Szlenkier appears as the Camp Principal, and @adriandomarecki performs Kostya. @dumitrumitu stars as B.F. Pinkerton opposite @szymonmechlinski ’s Sharpless in Madama Butterfly, opening on 22nd October. Later in the season, @konu_kim.tenor portrays Fenton, while @szymonmechlinski returns to the stage as Ford in Falstaff, opening on 27th November. The new year begins with @szymonmechlinski in the role of Scarpia in Tosca, opening on 2nd January. On 14th February, @rafal_siwek_bass appears as Jacopo Fiesco in Simon Boccanegra. Spring brings @hubertzapiorbaritone to the stage as Papageno in Die Zauberflöte, opening on 3rd April. In Les pêcheurs de perles, opening on 23rd April, @artur_janda takes the role of Nourabad, with @samuelstopford appearing as Nadir. If you’re unsure what to include, revisit last week’s video, where @katya.deleu explains step-by-step how to craft a strong introductory message. Marcin also recommends including invitations to upcoming performances, as this offers the best opportunity for them to experience your artistry live. If you haven’t received a response after two weeks, please feel free to follow up! After that point, it’s likely the team is not interested at this time. Samson et Dalila opens at the Royal Ballet & Opera on 13th May, featuring two MKI artists in leading roles. @aigul_akhmetshina_mezzo makes her highly anticipated role debut as Dalila, while Łukasz Goliński @lukasz_golinski_baritone returns as the High Priest of Dagon, a role he performed at Covent Garden in 2022 to acclaim for his “world-class singing.” Conducted by Alexander Soddy, the production runs until 3rd June. Akhmetshina and Goliński reprise these roles alongside Soddy again this summer at the Staatsoper unter den Linden, opening on 4th July. #MKImpresari #MKIArtists

Grisha Martirosyan @martirosyangr recently took his final bow as Figaro in Il barbiere di Siviglia at @calgaryopera . Martirosyan has drawn widespread praise for being the “stand out performance,” highlighting his “perfect high baritone for the role and all the braggadocio onstage the part needs. Handsome and commanding, he was in his element in this role, both vocally and in the stage action.
