@whizzkidzuk and their “Childhood Can’t Wait” campaign, we set out to capture one simple truth: every child deserves a childhood that moves.
The charity wanted a film that felt nostalgic but urgent - a reminder that while most kids race through playgrounds and puddles without thinking twice, too many are still waiting for the right wheelchair to make that possible.
We built the story from a series of vignettes of childhood. These quiet, observational moments gave space for Charlie’s energy and joy to shine through. Watching her move, laugh, and live became the heartbeat of the film.
