Was a different kind of challenge shootin on a phone but was a fun one tryna get the most out of it. I wrote this song ‘No Jesus’ about my struggles with addiction, ADHD, sexuality, depression etc. this is the most personal thing I’ve ever shared and gets pretty heavy as the song goes on. i was gonna wait to share this once my first few songs had dropped as this song is gonna be a later release but it sums up everythibg n why I’ve had to keep delaying my music so here’s a rough take of it so far with an injured hand. I always want to be real/always want my music to reflect truth, positive or negative n hope it can help anyone going through hard times to know you’re not alone. Life ain’t perfect and smiling don’t mean happiness. I put some music out casually ages ago n been doing music stuff n writing songs for myself n others for years but tryna forge a proper plan/releases with my own music has been so hard dealing with everything whilst tryna manage my film work too. got hundreds of songs on my Dropbox im dying to share. Had so many opportunities I couldn’t take n sometimes it just feels impossible n drives me crazy wondering why I cant just do things. Trying to make forward movements consistently, forgive the past, seek proper help, distance myself from negative energy and mostly release the pain and sadness I’ve felt over the years. This song is a msg to myself to be confident/to know that things can get better even when you really don’t want to be here. so thankful for so much n for the beautiful talented people believing in me right now n investing their time in bringing my music to life, the songs, the vids etc before I kick start it proper. so excited to get them out and so thankful to nes and my friends/fam for sticking with me when things got a bit mad.got the first songs I feel are right v nearly ready to go n a few vids etc done. first releases actually coming soon this time.All I wish for is kindness and love in this world.
