Prathibha Liyanarachchi recently shared her inspiring journey and purpose while appearing on the Siyatha TV program Aya. Representing herself as both a professional designer and model, Prathibha stated that since childhood, her dream has always been to use her knowledge and experience to create a positive impact on society.
She described the Miss World Sri Lanka platform as the biggest opportunity she has received to fulfill that dream. Prathibha explained that her entire journey is closely connected with her Beauty With a Purpose project, which focuses on empowering and uplifting Sri Lanka’s local craft industry and artisans.
According to her, creating long-term livelihoods for people is one of the greatest forms of social service that can be given to society. She further shared that the pageant has provided her with a valuable platform to speak about her project and work towards it with dedication and passion.
The program is hosted by former Miss World Sri Lanka Anudi Gunasekara.
