On May 14, at 2:00 PM local time (7:00 AM GMT), the official schedule for Miss World, the 75th Anniversary Edition, will be unveiled in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
The announcement will take place during the Kick-Off Press Conference at the Lachateau Hotel, where key details of the upcoming festival will be revealed, including planned activities, official events, and locations across Vietnam.
The event will begin with a red carpet from 13:00 to 14:00, followed by the main presentation from 14:00 to 16:00 (GMT+7).
Miss World Opal Suchata and Julia Morley CBE, Chairwoman and CEO of the Miss World Organization, will be present at this special occasion.
Livestream will be available via Miss World, Sen Vang Tivi, and Miss World Vietnam platforms.

Meet Opal Suchata Chuangsri @suchaaata #: The 72nd Miss World and the First-Ever Winner from Thailand 🇹🇭
With much elegance and purpose in her steps, Opal Suchata Chuangsri made history as the first Thai woman to be crowned Miss World, a moment of pride for her nation.
Crowned Miss World Thailand 2025 on April 22, Opal said she arrived at the 72nd Miss World Festival in Telangana with a clear mission: to inspire, empower, and advocate for change, in addition to making friends and being inspired by others other Miss World participants. And she did just that.
A student of International Relations, with interests in psychology and anthropology, Opal aspires to go into diplomacy and become an ambassador, a role she’s already begun to embody through her campaign, “Opal For Her.” Launched at just 16 after her own experience with a benign breast lump, the campaign promotes early detection of breast cancer and champions women’s health and empowerment.
Opal’s voice is one of compassion. She believes that leadership begins with grace, and that no matter your age or title, there is always someone who looks up to you, whether it’s a youth or even your own parents. Her philosophy is simple yet profound: “Lead with the gracefulness in your actions. That is the best thing we can do for people around us and for our world.”
Aside from her advocacy, Opal has a playful side, with a unique talent for playing the ukulele backwards and a love for her many pet dogs and cats.
As Miss World, she has pledged to continue her mission, using the platform to expand her impact and support causes. For her, success means “to live your life and to create a life that’s better for people around you as well.”
In addition to the main title, Opal was the winner of the Multimedia Award and placed 2nd in Head to Head in Asia and Oceania.
A young woman with wisdom beyond her years, Opal Suchata Chuangsri now carries her mission while wearing the “blue crown”, fulfilling a dream the Thai people had held for 74 years and 72 editions of Miss World.

During the Kick-off Ceremony for the 75th Anniversary Edition of Miss World, the official hosting agreement was signed at the Lachateau Hotel, in Ho Chi Minh, by Julia Morley CBE and Mr. Hoàng Nhật Nam, with Miss World 2025 Opal Suchata serving as witness.
Following the signing, and after receiving flowers and warm applause, Julia Morley CBE addressed the audience:
“It is deeply meaningful for me to return to Vietnam and to see this happening. Vietnam is a country I have loved long before many of you were born. To be here today, seeing this dream become a reality, is truly special.
It is my great pleasure to bring over 130 countries to Vietnam, showcasing this beautiful nation to the world and supporting its tourism and economic growth. Together, we can make a real and lasting difference.
At its heart, Miss World stands for two things: promoting tourism and caring for children through Beauty With a Purpose. I have no doubt that everyone who comes to Vietnam will be warmly welcomed and inspired by the beauty of this country and its people.
Thank you for your support, your enthusiasm, your kindness, and your love for children. Thank you for trusting us, we will not let you down.”
Miss World 2025 Opal Suchata also shared her experience in the country, noting how warmly she is received on each visit. “It feels like the lovely people here know me so well,” she said.
The 73rd Miss World Festival, marking the organization’s 75th anniversary, will take place in Vietnam from August 9 to September 5.
