Lighting for macro shots and miniatures can be tricky especially when working with probe lenses that require a lot of light. It can be a challenge to get the right exposure and also being mindful of every single reflection. It’s important to remember that lighting approach/theory remains the same just on a much smaller scale.

Seeing @dinhster share these stills brought back so many memories! This is from a pilot we did back in 2022 called “AZNBBGRL” and although it didn't get picked up, I'm incredibly proud of what we accomplished. Nearly every department head was Asian American and that alone is an amazing accomplishment. Hands down, my favorite film set experience to date.
