Got a really good feeling about 2026. We’ve had a busy winter over at Zero Grip, and can’t wait to keep it rolling all year long. Feels good to be busy, feels good to get the crew working, insured, and feeding their families. We make the things you watch and we have a damn good time doing it. Cheers to bringing the next round of crazy ideas to life this Spring!!
If you’re one of my guys you’re used to me asking “have you seen my tape measure” at least twice a day. I swear this thing might as well have legs. My last one walked off with a DP last month, so here’s the christening of a freshie 🤙🏻
Busy start to the year and feeling really grateful for it. Big jobs, small jobs, all of it counts. Showing up, getting the work done, and making cool stuff with solid people. Huge respect to all my crews who grind every day and make it all run smooth. Hoping to keep this momentum rolling all year.
We’re pretty good grips, but we’re really good at having fun. Hands down best part of the job is getting to assemble the avengers of grips every time I have a gig and being even luckier to call each and everyone of them my friend 🖤

For those of you that don’t know, a set cart is what you buy when the back seat/trunk of your car is filled with gear that you don’t want back there anymore 😅
Shout out to @basecamp.supply.co for the solid fabrication work modifying this cart for me, I love it 😍 And couldn’t be happier with the custom pipe organ and storage boxes designed by @american_made_cases for the back of the cart. And as always, thank you to @alliancegriptruckrentals for all the shop space, tools, and advice. It’s hard to put into words how much the Alliance Grip Team supports me sometimes, but just know I truly appreciate it.
This is the third set cart I’ve had in time as a Key Grip, but I think this one is going to stick around for awhile 😎 Already went out on its inaugural job and kicked some serious butt! While I love how dialed it’s feeling already, I probably never stop upgrading, modifying, and adjusting everything to only keep getting better ☺️ Don’t be shy if you have a question or an improvement suggestion!

This shoot was a fun intersection of my work life and personal life. Big old throwback to an Old Navy Spot with DP @christopher.c.ripley and Gaffer @mathiasperalta . Some interesting light rigging challenges on this job. Needed to pump lights through the windows, but we were unable to get access to the parking lot next door. Had to come up with a solution that worked completely from the building’s property. Mathias helped us out getting all LED’s, so we wouldn’t burn the trees.
The Zero Grip 5:1 Pulleys made this rig no problem! I could hoist the lights up one handed using these. Each unit weighs in over 100lbs, but the mechanical advantage of the pulleys makes it only feel like 20lbs.

Throwback to the Monster Softbox for DP @alexanderdynan with Gaffer @mathiasperalta . We built a 50x50 Softbox to completely envelop the set beneath the Cyc Wall. This one takes the cake for largest box I ever put up with a diffusion coverage of 2500 square feet.
Thanks to the 20 different grips that worked on this spot!! My apologies I don’t think I can tag you all 😅
