It’s been two full years since we said I do and it seems time has gone so fast! But it’s not gone, it lives in everything we’ve built together everything we’re still creating together. The laughter, the quiet, the colour of it all. This kind of love is rare, making my world feel safe and alive. A partner in so many ways! With someone I’m completely in awe of. Burn 2025, my 5th Burn. Every single moment of burn this year felt like it was perfectly divine in the real sense of the word. It was building a camp with the most incredible, hilarious, giving and considerate friends, setting intentions from the very start @tannaleedeacon , weaving a million danglies @savbaines @angelique__marais to create an art piece that gave so many people a place to connect and lie down. It was getting lost in the dark, and remembering it’s also ok to just lie down and stare at the stars holding @lara_hattingh s hand It was playing my first @its.pirelli set @oe_aa_sies_ , and having a full circle moment - The Happy Couple - playing @insightisme , which led to group hugs to our camp theme song played by non other than @shmikesss and @wezlew and then welcoming Fridays sunrise with Wicked Games on Oupa and the Jellies with all of our burn family holding us oh so beautifully! It was falling in love with new friends @royheyman @cowboynohorse @eveliendietz @brooklynneveling @elizabethhughes.jpg @meirbriskman @kirstimeagan And falling even more in love with familiar ones @ofirgronner @gingerwithagopro @uri_shay_haddad @cowboynohorse @foosch_ m @bossiedutoit @kendalgorlei @adamlevy93 It was losing @legus03 only to find him in the absolute dark of the night in the middle of the desert. It was Girl Power, ours and @gia_hensburg ‘s tears of pure joy experiencing @its_omri_dot play while we danced right beside him, @savfordd ’s toilet!! Vibing & Zooming on a horse quad bike for ants!!! It was the @maianitka cut out that accompanied @byronkaplan wholeheartedly and the double rainbow that landed perfectly in to our cube. M It was the suprises that surprised @elanschnider !!! @savgldrng @max_pangea , @roch_odendaal and so much love that blossomed not just the romantic but the purest form of care and friendship. So many perfect moments, with such perfect people I could honestly write a book. It was surreally special. So greatful for each of you! And SO grateful for my friends with their cameras @lizhughess capturing such beautiful moments 🥹 because my camera bugged out on day one!! I love you! Thank you @afrikaburn

And then we had a very intimate and very chaotic Chuppah at home in our front garden. Kids crying, Peanut barking, the pole holder dropping the Chuppah. It was perfect. Thank you for capturing it all @notyouraveragesnail

19.09.23 ✨A day of pure magic. My best friend, my soul friend, brought a tiny little angel into our lives 👼🏽 I’m so glad we captured this incredible journey, we’ll remember these moments forever! This month consisted of beaching and working and working on many beaches, running alongside the beach and some bathroom selfies. Sheesh quickest Jan of my whole life. Hectic. But fast.

Last week @legus03 and I launched Please. We’ve quietly been working on this for the most part of the year and are so proud and excited to finally share it. Its crazy to think that this crazy idea I had nearly 6 years ago has finally manifested and become very real. Please is the culmination of many moments. A simple conversation with @joshjoshmeltzmeltz in back in 2015 voicing this concept for the first time, working day jobs, night jobs, meeting the love of my life @legus03 , coming from a family of entrepreneurs and sharing my dreams with him, building up the courage to leave a steady although toxic job, all the support from @legus03 along his own aspirations to start a business of his own with so much incredible work experience behind him, wild opportunities the freelance game and creative direction, meeting and knowing insanely talented people and friends, namely @janaandkoos along the way that would be instrumental to @_please_x_ .. Sooo many moments and experiences. This wouldn’t be a reality without so many people, but most of all @legus03 Thank you for believing in this, being the driving force and really making it all happen. Feeling so excited, grateful and kak lucky that we get to do this together ❤️ Ultimately it all comes down to timing. And wow what a time. Here we go!
