Yo...South Africa... Our vinyl release is finally here.
And holding it in our hands feels emotional.
Because this is more than music pressed onto wax.
It’s a living memory.
A document of connection, trust, late-night conversations, improvisation, movement, and the invisible thread that brings artists together across the world.
This collaboration brings together:
BEST IN THE WORLD
@geju___
@paul_traeumer
Vuyo Vumisa
@Azi Sakwe
Blending poetry, jazz, avant-garde expression, electronic music, storytelling, rhythm, and emotion into one body of work.
AfrikaBurn 2026 changed something in us.
Compared to last year, this burn felt softer, deeper, more human. Less about escape, and more about remembering why we create in the first place. Somewhere between the dust, silence, fire, and music, we found each other again.
Reuniting with Geju in the desert was surreal — like crossing paths with family from another lifetime. Sharing space once again with
@Paul_Traeumer whose deep and experimental approach to electronic music continues to inspire people around the world, reminded us that the most meaningful collaborations happen naturally… soul to soul, spirit to spirit.
And connecting with
@Gleb Andrianov / Mental Surfer added another layer of inspiration entirely — exchanges of ideas, frequencies, visions, and conversations that reminded us how limitless this creative community truly is.
No industry formula.
No performance.
Just people meeting through frequency.
Cape Town
Russia
Germany
The desert
All meeting in one place.
Deep gratitude to
@Filipp , Program Director of #insight, for truly believing in the vision from the beginning and helping push this project forward with care and intention. Thank you to Vlad, La Casa, and the entire INSIGHT Records family for creating space for independent art, experimentation, and genuine collaboration to exist freely.
This release reminded us that art still has the power to heal, unite, and leave traces of ourselves behind long after the sound disappears.
And somehow, this feels like only the beginning.
The future feels bright.
And we’re deeply grateful to walk into it together.
From AfrikaBurn into eternity.
