i want to take my writing more seriously and what better way to do that than introducing what i’m writing on here? it might give me more accountability 😅

— while there is romance a lot of the focus is on academia - elitism, the pressure put on students, finances, etc

this post has been in my canva drafts for the past month as i figured out how i wanted to make it. when i finally sat down it only took a few hours to put together but this may be one of the closest “how to” posts to my heart.
journaling has been my escape throughout my entire life, a place where i can be wholly myself without fear of judgement or rejection. i’ve often felt that i cannot truly breathe unless i’m writing.
it’s such a personal and delicate thing - journaling, whose process looks different from everyone else’s. i hope that these tips are helpful for you. 🥺♥️

how i organize my uni notes for studying and exams

qotd: do you like taking notes? what kind of organization system do you have?
i have all my exam dates written down and usually start studying 10-7 days before an exam. my preferred method of studying is writing a ridiculous amount of notes by hand because it helps me memorize things quickly.
i’ll take make a study guide or use one the professor provides and write out all my answers. and then keep the notes in a campus binder and bring it with me the day of the exam to look over before class.
this method works the best for me! it’s important to learn how you study best but i hope this helps! 🤍

it’s my birthday which i always have mixed feelings about each year but i thought i’d share pieces of me that have slowly grown over the years.
making up stories has always been a part of my life and, like reading, have given me hope in difficult times.
i hope that one day i’ll be able to share one of these wips with you and be able to leave a piece of myself in the world that might be a solace others who read it.
maybe i’m really writing for my younger self, and voicing the feelings she was never able to put into words. 🫂
