ft. the world of SAMP, my wip which is built on an overarching plot across multiple dimension arcs. Can you guess the worlds here? 🌌 Dear writers, at some point, you might find yourself surrounded by people who talk down about writing books. Perhaps they're being realistic as they say, or they simply cannot understand what we see in writing, and that pushes us into more self-doubt and frustration the more we try to explain. Many times I wanted to give up on writing because of the negative voices, and it almost killed all the creativity inside of me. Thankfully, I woke up and decided to pick up the pen again. Writing stories may seem lonely after a while, but it doesn't have to be. You can always reach out to the writing community and find like-minded writer friends to hype each other up! 🌟 Most importantly, dear writers, please persevere through and continue to create the world you want to show us. I'm back with recent random thoughts + #tbrchallenge tag 💌 qotd: can you relate to any of my thoughts, or is it just me? 🫣 The tbr challenge was long overdue but thank youu @awonderingreader for tagging me~ 🌱 a book I need to get to asap જ°˖➴ If You Could See the Sun by Ann Liang • it’s the book that got me back from a long book-reading slump but I got side-tracked and now reading Sadie's story instead 🌱 a book I’ve been putting off જ°˖➴ Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint by Sing Shong • a webnovel I know I’ll enjoy bc of the plot + vibes (my wips also have the similar idea of author/reader/story kind of plot) but I wanna read orv when I’m fully prepared to binge-read! 🌱 a book I’m scared to read જ°˖➴ Anything horror • just a personal preference, mild horror as a subgenre is okay for me but not books labelled as straight-up horror with explicit descriptions cause bye- 🌱 a book recently added to my tbr જ°˖➴ These Violent Delights by Chloe Gong • I’ve been seeing it for a while, thinking that it might be too political for my brain but hellooo?? I gave it a try reading the first few pages and Chloe’s writing style is right up my alley 👌 🌱 a book I probably won’t read for a while જ°˖➴ Spin The Dawn by Elizabeth Lim • the premise + plot are interesting but I’m a mood reader and currently craving for historical Chinese stories (also to get myself in writing my main wip) 🌱 a book in a genre I don’t usually read that’s been on my tbr forever જ°˖➴ Days at the Morisaki Bookshop by Satoshi Yagisawa • I’ve been somewhat hesitant bc it’s said to be a more slice of life kind of story, which I tend to dnf (cause they’re usually too slow-paced) but I’ll get into reading this one someday 💛 ⚠️ The use of my content in any way without my permission is strictly prohibited, including reposting. Introducing SAMP, my fantasy wip novel about world-hopping and trying to live in the present ⚖️📑 SAMP is the acronym of its temporary title, which may change in the future. I'm in the drafting stage as the concept is time-consuming to write (especially the world-building involved).
