my love letter to ice skating. i don’t think i’ve loved anything like the way i have this sport, i miss everything about it. with the winter olympics coming up, i started thinking about eteri’s girls back in 2022 and obsessed artists and perfectionism. then there was always the idea to have a lil modern shangguan qian and gong shangjue story 🤭 kinda fits the toxicity they had in mjty 💕
recently there’s been a lot of ice skating spice aaa romances but it’s been annoying me how it’s all the same idea of “oh, replacing their skating partner. kiss kiss mwah mwah hookup fight love again!” none of that ty ❌❌
im slowly posting more of my contemporary wips since the storylines are more cemented (for now 😵💫) the titles… not really sure if i like the current one but it’s a placeholder! class starts today though 😭 sooooo canva drafts lock in. probably going to have more low effort posts until i figure out a better routine that doesn’t involve all-nighters and doomscrolling😓

I’ve been so excited for this movie OMGOMGOMG, and it’s one of the few sequels where it wasn’t disappointing. It’s rare for a sequel to outdo the original but tdwp2 still had tha nostalgic feeling. I honestly thought there were a few Easter eggs and callbacks to the original that I really loved.
Simone Ashley stole the spotlight everytime she popped up on screen, her outfits were eating EVERY TIME MWAHHH. my one gripe though is that I don’t understand why we needed to shoehorn in a romantic interest. It added nothing but oh well… 😒
