We've been away for a while, but only because we were on a quest. As Mindfares grew, so did its need for a visual representation that could embody its message and spirit. We are happy to have found it and share it with you. We would also like to announce that Mindfares is now evolving into a record label. The first release is due in a few months and will be revealed soon. We're beyond excited to put original, locally sourced music out into the world. Thank you for your continued support.

Hello! It has been a while since our last musical meet and we've missed it more than we can say 🫂 It is with great excitement that we announce our next get-together in a very special setting! 🕯️ The Unitarian Church in the city center to be exact, a beautiful Baroque-style sanctuary built in the 18th century. There’s something unique about hearing music fill a space like this; letting it echo, linger, and take on a life of its own. It only feels right to pair such a venue with something equally special, so we’re inviting an artist we first heard a few years ago and instantly fell in love with. Margaux Gazur (@margauxgazur ) is a French-Vietnamese sound explorer charting memory and environment with the help of music. Using acoustic instruments, everyday objects, and field recordings, she creates richly textured compositions that drift between electronic music, musique concrète, classical, experimental jazz, and more. Opening the evening is a new project that we have been quietly working on: Float Radio, a collaborative duo featuring @anaamaier and @superuser____ , exploring the soft, contemplative contours of their respective musical sensibilities. This will mark the first time they present their work live. We will be starting at 19:00 sharp, inside the Unitarian Church right next to Sora Shopping Center, and entry is free of charge. Opening the evening on Friday we have Float Radio, a new musical project we’ve been quietly working on and are very excited to finally share. Bringing together @anaamaier and @superuser____ , the duo finds common ground by a shared approach to sound, one that leans on pacing, restraint, and attention to detail. A pull towards the aquatic sits at the core of this collaboration which finds its way into their music, not necessarily as a theme but as a way of moving. Float Radio is, in a way, a space for that kind of transmission; sounds held lightly, drifting and finding their place without being fixed. This will be the first time the project is presented live, starting at 19:00 sharp, opening for Margaux Gazur. See you at the Unitarian Church this Friday.

We first heard Margaux at @wakinglife.pt a few years ago and immediately fell in love with her sound. We'd like to take this opportunity to properly introduce her and her music in anticipation of our get-together next Friday at the church. She began her musical path with classical piano at the Conservatoire, before gradually stepping away from traditional structures to embrace improvisation and freer forms of composition. Drawn to the raw potential of sound, she developed a practice rooted in unconventional sources like everyday objects, environments, and fragments of memory; shaping them into deeply personal yet expansive sonic narratives. Her time in Vietnam marked a pivotal chapter. Living in Hanoi for five years, she became an active force in the city’s underground electronic music scene, founding its first alternative art and music venue and initiating a multidisciplinary collective that bridged local and international artists. It was also there that she began working with field recordings as a kind of sonic diary, later transforming these into experimental compositions—including early works inspired by recordings of traditional martial arts. Today, her work unfolds across sound, film, and installation, often blurring boundaries between disciplines to create immersive, sensory experiences. As part of Berlin’s Weich collective, she continues to explore sound as a space for connection, experimentation, and shared presence. Figurehead of the romanian electronic underground for many a year and author of some of our favourite sound collages in recent memory, @vladcaiasound honors our humble podcast with a selection of otherworldly pieces of music, assembled in a highly meticulous fashion. Their first record is coming courtesy of Romania-based artist and performer @aburelius , taking listeners on a left of field, abstract yet nature bound trip that is as much immersive as it is emotional. With a rich, detailed sound that’s borrowing and mutating from ambient, post rock, dub techno, and trip hop, the release shines on well-built systems both at home and in your favorite neighborhood hifi booth.

We had a wonderful experience taking Mindfares on the road for the first time.
